Clark saves Lois along with Chloe when they were trapped in the dam. Later at the hospital, Lois tells Clark how she was stabbed and then was healed. When she leaves to go find Lex, Clark tries to stop her saying Lex is dangerous but Lois leaves. Another great moment for Clois is when Lois and Clark were taking a walk around the dam when Clark detto he was leaving Smallville and heading up north. Lois really didn't want to seem him go, and asked who she was going to tease and boss around. Clark replied, I'm sure you'll find someone.

Clark, Lana and Chloe have formed a classic Amore triangle. Clark has loved Lana since he was a small boy. Only since the spring formal did Clark realize he could have feelings for Chloe, too. Lana realized her feelings for Clark when she noticed he was becoming close to Chloe. Chloe loved Clark from the moment she saw him, but she knew Lana was competition, so she decided to bide her time. Clark later chose Lana which devastated Chloe. Lana and Chloe are friends, but their relationship is often strained da their mutual affection for Clark.
