Who's the absolute best, Sonic o Sh<3dow?

I really like Shadow, but I'm at a tie between the two. Who's più powerful, but aggressiveness not included.

When he takes them off, te know someone's got hell written on their future. Which would include Sonic, should he and Shadow fight to the death.

I don't completely agree with that. Hell, Sonic's Hyper Form ALONE makes him stronger than Shadow. Going on here, if we're going to be very stingy with canonical attacks and say that Sonic has never done the Chaos Spear, let alone any projectiles, then that would imply that Shadow can't even do the Super Sonic Boost from Advance 1-3, and I do remember Sonic using Chaos Control in Sonic 06 AND Sonic Adventure 2. Hell, he did it with a FAKE Chaos Emerald. Lastly, pistole ain't much when you're facing a Hyper-Form wielding damn near indestructible beast such as Hyper Sonic, same sorta applies to Chaos Blast. Lastly, a quote from Gamefaqs: "Also, he was able to maintain his Super form for longer than Shadow at the end of SA2. I reckon Sonic could easily outclass Shadow with chaos abilities if he had the same level of experience (or even the inclination to use the emeralds outside of transforming Super)". So overall, I think they're perfectly evenly matched. Shadow can't kill Hyper Sonic, and Shadow is immortal, so it's a dead even match to me.

But in terms of sheer power, Sonic wins just because of the fact that the Hyper state exists, and he's the only one who's ever pulled it off.

But in Nazo unleash, it shows Shadow can turn into Hyper Shadow so then what? I'd say Shadow would beat Sonic. Still it's your opinion deathding but I agree with LGYCE. Shadow would be stronger. I mean I know they all have their pros and cons but I think even with the cons I'm sure Shadow would beat Sonic.
