The much publicized upcoming link got me thinking about the optimal viewing order for the stella, star Wars saga. The logical approach is to view the Film in episodic order (which is how Cinemax plans to air it). But I'm not so certain that this is the best way to watch stella, star Wars.

What follows is a rundown on the only four *viable* ways to view the stella, star Wars saga that I can think of. Sure there are other viewing orders, but these are the only ones that make sense from the standpoint of storytelling and continuity.

Here goes:

Method 1: da Order of Episode

This approach is clearly the viewing order intended da George Lucas. Quite simply, te watch the Film da episode number starting from Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Finishing with Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Why it works: This approach provides a strong high-level story arc centered on the rise, fall and redemption of Darth Vader. te essentially sposta chronologically through his life from childhood all the way to his death and final redemption da his children. te also...

Remember in Attack of the Clones, Anakin tells Padme he hates sand? Nobody really understands exactly why he hates sand. Everyone thinks that it was a random statement that shouldn't have been in the movie.

But I see it differently. I see a slave boy who lived in sand all his life, finally freed of it. But his mother, still trapped in the sand, is tortured da a band of Tusken Raiders. When he tried to save her, she died in his arms with sand all around them.

Anakin definitely had a reason to hate the sand. It's quite sad not many people actually understand the reason, however.

Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker are both powerful, despite the fact that the prophesy deemed Ani "The Chosen One."
This is a kind response to anyone who thinks that Luke Skywalker is a lame pansy. Enjoy, and please feel free to share your thoughts, no matter if te like Luke o not! : )
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Why Nothing Is Wrong With Luke Skywalker:

1. Luke is loyal. Vader betrayed his fellow Jedi and the justice of the Republic for a selfish purpose: to save Padme. He cared little about the lives he ended. Only at the end of the Saga does Vader realize how much pain he's caused, and he realizes this da seeing the pain his son was experiencing at the hands of Sith Lord Sidious. Luke didn't have to turn to the Dark Side in order to see why he should be loyal to the good guys. He stuck with the Rebellion until justice was restored, even when he did find out that Vader was his father.

2. Luke didn't "screw up." A "screw up" is when someone makes a stupid mistake, NOT when someone willingly gives himself up to save his father. He merely refused to fight. It's not like he was incapable of fighting Vader o Sidious. I've watched Episode VI at least 15 times, and nowhere during the final fight between Luke and Vader did I see...

Carrie Fisher as Leia
I'm not very good with Scrivere but I wanted to try and express my feeling about getting the heartbreaking news yesterday afternoon about Ms. Carrie Fisher's passing.

This celebrity death hit me hard, it was like I Lost a family member, it was like I've known her, even though I've never meet her, she's been a part of my life since I was 8 years old, just hard to believe she's gone. Yes, as an 8 anno old boy, she was my first crush, even if I didn't realize it. I grew up with her, she was always Princess Leia to me, yes I've seen her in other films, but she was always Leia. She set the standards for female Heroes in film, she was the 1st, well the 1st to me.

I'm still kind of in shock, still don't want to accept it, still getting teary eyed while watching the films. Why do I feel stupid for feeling this way? Like I said, I didn't know her, why do I hurt? It's just hard to explain, I know some would say "you didn't know her, get over it". So am I stupid for feeling like this? I just can't explain it. Sorry if this is not worded very well, like I said, I'm not a writer and I have never been good with wording my feelings.

Spoilers lie ahead if te *sigh* still have not seen stella, star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

As te probably know, being a fan of stella, star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens, was recently released on home media. For me, that means I have now seen it a shameful amount of times. A large part of my Amore for TFA is desert-scavenger-turned-Jedi Rey. She's pretty awesome. But one domanda that remains largely senza risposta is this: who is Rey, and where did she come from?

After seeing TFA so many times, I am più and più convinced that Rey's father is none other than Luke Skywalker. For the following reasons:

1. The lightsaber that belonged to Anakin and Luke called to Rey. It seems that it would not call to someone who was not related to those two, even if that person were strong with the Force.
2. Shortly after having the vision, Rey is visited da Maz Kanata, who tells Rey that whoever Rey is waiting for on Jakku is never coming back, but there is someone who still could. Rey then whispers, "Luke". This seems to indicate that Luke is a close relative, probably her father, since Han and Leia don't ever mention having a long-lost...

"STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS" (2015) Review

During the fall of 2012, the media and many film fan were stunned da news of filmmaker George Lucas' sale of his production company, Lucasfilm, to the Walt Disney Company. I was flabbergasted. However, this sale led to Disney's plans to continue Lucas' "STAR WARS" movie saga with future releases, Televisione shows, novels and comic stories.

One result of this sale proved to be Disney's new film, "STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS". The first of three Film for the franchise' "Sequel Trilogy", "THE FORCE AWAKENS" is set some thirty years after the 1983 film, "STAR WARS: EPISODE VI - RETURN OF THE JEDI". Some time after the Galactic Empire's major defeat at the Battle of Endor, remnants of this political force formed a new galactic power known as the First Order under the mysterious leadership of Snoke, a Force user. Within less than thirty years, the First Order has managed to take possession of new worlds and become a powerful force within the galaxy. Although appalled da the First Order's development, the New Republic government decided to do nothing.

I see alot of Padme vs. Leia domande along with Luke vs. Darth Vader o Anakin. più the Padme vs. Leia. But did we ever stop and think that maybe we dont have to compare them o maybe one doesnt have to be better than the other becaue they are the Skywalker family. There is a new fanpop spot for them. Maybe te know. But Padme gave her angelic beauty to Leia, and Leia does have her mothers will to do good-both being senators- but there is alot of her Father in her. Leia is very fiesty and bullheaded. Luke on the other hand has also inherited più of his mothers will to do good, I believe that is why when he left before his trianing was complete he didnt fall to the dark side. And when he got angry and impatient like His Father, He didnt succumb to the Dark side either. Of course seeing his aunt and uncle murdered helped him realize he has to stop the Galatic Republic rather than unisciti them. Unlike Anakin who when he saw his mother killed da the Sand people, didnt realize that turning to the Dark Side of the Force and becoming as Sith to Avenge her o save Padme would make him più evil than the Tuscan Raiders. But as te watch the Film Im sure te all notice irony and...

Come see Carrie Fisher perform live at Arena Stage in Washington, DC !

Wishful Drinking
created and performed da Carrie Fisher
September 5 through 28, 2008
link

Carrie Fisher is the life of the party in this uproarious and sobering look at her Hollywood hangover. The daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, Carrier Fisher became a cultural icona when she stared as Princess Leia in the first stella, star Wars trilogy at 19 years olds. Forever changed, Carrie’s life did not stay picture perfect. A demanding career and single motherhood followed, as well as her struggle with addiction. It’s an incredible tale filled with self-deprecating humor about having Elizabeth Taylor as a step-mother, marrying (and divorcing) Paul Simon, and losing her daughter’s father to another man. Fisher tells a true and intoxicating story with the strong wry wit that she poured into bestsellers like Postcard from the Edge. Get “Carried” away with this hilarious insider’s look at life in Hollywood.

“I don’t know where te get your delusions laser brain” Princess Leia: Empire Strikes Back

A Rogue Resistance warning: Rogue One spoilers lie ahead! Do not get lured da the dark side…see the movie before te read on!

It is always a traumatic time when a major movie franchise loses one its crown jewels upon the screen, but when that loss transcends to reality the passing is always a amaro pill to swallow. This loss was profound, one I have never quite experienced before in the fandom of stella, star Wars. The loss of Kenny Baker was a body blow to us all, especially in the aftermath of stella, star Wars Celebration Europa where, the legendary R2-D2 actor had been signing autographs and posing for photographs with his devoted fans. But as tragic as his passing was, we could take a sliver of consolation from the fact that the character would live on in future Film and his legacy would transcend the ages for eternity.

This time however, we are afforded none of that solace.

Because it's the last giorno of 2016, I've decided to dedicate an articolo to a special someone who meant a lot to me, and for everyone else: Carrie Fisher.
Like everyone else, I was pretty damn (Sorry about that.) shocked when I heard about Carrie Fisher's death. I was talking to my friend on Google+ when he informed about her death. I knew that she had a cuore attack about a week before she died, but I didn't expect this.

Without any further a due, let's being!

stella, star Wars is my secondo preferito franchise of all time. Not only is it a big part of my childhood, but also a big part of my life.
While I didn't grew up watching the original trilogy, I do respect the entire stella, star Wars franchise, as whole. Later, I did manage to watch the original trilogy, and I have to say, I was very impressed. One of my preferito characters in the Film was of course Princess Leia.

Carrie Fisher was still a teenager when she was cast as Princess Leia, and George Lucas gets a lot of mileage, especially early in the trilogy, out of the contrast between Leia’s youthful, sweet appearance and her sharp tongue and forceful manner. Leia is a...

te may not have known this, but I'm also a huge fan of stella, star Wars.It is basically my preferito Sci-Fi franchise of all time.
I've been through a lot with this franchise. From watching the Clone Wars series, playing the games, watching the movies, read the libri and novels, talk about them, however there is something about it that still bothers me.
Now da saying that there's something wrong with it,you must think that I'm talking about the prequels.Well...yes and no.What I meant is the unfair criticism that they get.
Allow me to explain:
I'm not saying that the prequels are good, they're just not very good and pale in comparison to the original trilogy. All I'm saying is that they're not without merit.
As te may have seen from the title,I'll be discussing as to why I'm più forgiving towards them.
I'll talk about all 3 of them individually and then I'll explain to te why I don't think they deserve all that hate, but also give te a brief synopsis.

fan are waiting with bated breath as the Blu raggio, ray and DVD release of The Force Awakens looms like a gigantic killer planetoid over the horizon, arriving to overpower your home theaters in April 2016.

The film, it goes without saying, was an unqualified success and one of the finest in the franchise, right up there with Episode V. As for the Blu Rays and DVDs, it's a spectacular release, with a massive trove of content for fan to explore. For example, "The Secrets of the Force Awakens" alone is well over an ora of riveting footage.

We'll be adding to our review throughout the week, but to give te a preview, here's what it contains:

"Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey – For the first time, discover the complete story behind the making of The Force Awakens, revealed through in-depth footage and exclusive interviews with the actors and filmmakers in this feature documentary.

The following is a lista of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recente viewing of "Episode II: Attack of the Clones". I hope that te enjoy them:

Notes on "STAR WARS: Episode II – Attack of the Clones"

*It is interesting that the story starts out with Coruscant – the sede, sedile of the Republic’s power – covered in a shroud of fog. Was this an allegory of the Republic’s impending doom? o a sign of hidden secrets within the seats of power?

*Why did the Jedi believe they would have to protect the Republic in a military action, if the Separatists broke away? It seems as if the Republic and the Jedi were prepared to consider using military force to draw the Separatists back into the Republic, against their will.

*I noticed that both Mace and Ki-Adi had the same condescending attitude that the entire Council had in TPM, when explaining to Padme that Dooku could never be behind her assassination attempt.

"STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI" (2017) Review

Following the success of the Disney Studios' first hit stella, star WARS film, "STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS", I had assumed that producer-director J.J. Abrams would helm the successivo chapter in the franchise's Sequel Trilogy. I was eventually surprised to learn that Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy, hired writer-director Rian Johnson to both write and direct "EPISODE VIII".

My positive reaction to the news about Johnson being hired da Lucasfilm originated with my reaction to his 2012 film, "LOOPER". I found Johnson's 2012 film to be original, ambiguous and well written, if not perfect. I had hoped Johnson would create a better stella, star WARS film than J.J. Abrams, who was the creator behind the 2015 movie. Then the movie hit the theaters in December 2017 and I was relieved da the high level acclaim it had received from the critics.

Titled "STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI", this 2017 movie picked up immediately after the last scene of the precedente Sequel film. Well . . . almost. Actually, "THE LAST JEDI" about an ora before "THE FORCE...

I finally saw Rogue One! And did I think it was better than The Force Awakens? YES. Was it better than The Empire Strikes Back? NOPE.

Any longtime fan of stella, star Wars knows what the story is about. A small band of rebel spies infiltrate the Empire's deadly battle station "The Death Star" on a mission to steal the Death stella, star schematics and deliver it back to the Rebellion so they can find out how to destroy it, leading up to the events of A New Hope. That's pretty much the gist of it.

Let's count off what I did enjoy about this movie-

1. The action scenes are fantastic and like in the teasers and trailers, there is a war movie-like tone. Think of it as Saving Private Ryan meets stella, star Wars but without the blood and gore because, come on... kids are watching.

2. The Rebellion itself and not just the main characters. te get the feel that the Rebel Alliance is not so squeaky clean as the original Film imply and in some ways, they're hardly much different from the Empire other than they hate everything the Empire stands for.

I am a huge stella, star Wars fan, I've been a fan since I was 7 years old. I am what some would call an O.T. generation kid, but I also really loved the prequels and Jar Jar Binks as well, still can't figure out why some fan hate him so much, but this isn't about the prequels o Jar Jar, it's about Rogue One: A stella, star Wars Story.

As a "O.T." kid I loved this movie, all the small call backs to A New Hope were awesome and they were done right, they were not "ham-handed" and they did not feeling like fan service to me.

I fell in Amore with all the characters so quickly and that just made me care about them più and to me that is a sign of a great director and a great story teller. So, I say great job Gareth Edwards, great job.

I don't want to give any spoilers away, so I don't think there is anymore I can say without spoiling it. So, if te haven't seen Rogue One: A Story Wars Story yet........ what are te waiting for?

"STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE" (1977) Review

Long fa (thirty-five years and seven months, to be exact) and in a galaxy far, far away, producer-director-writer George Lucas made film history with the release of his movie, "STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE". Only, during the summer of 1977, it was simply known as "STAR WARS". And this science-fiction/fantasy homage to Saturday morning serials and mythology was something that moviegoers had never seen before.

Now considered as the fourth film installment of Lucas' stella, star WARS saga, "A NEW HOPE" chronicled the adventures of a space-aged farmboy named Luke Skywalker, who finds himself swept up in a galactic conflict between a tyrannical empire and a band of rebel fighters determined to return freedom to the galaxy. Not only did the film introduced the concept of the summer blockbuster and created a movie/television/literary franchise that made billions for its creator, it also became the secondo highest grossing film in Hollywood history (as of 2012) and ushered in a new age for movie special effects. This movie has made such a major impact upon Hollywood that its effects are still...

"What do we do if we run into those Jedi? I take it that killing them is out of the question." Vizan got a definite look."Alright how about just knocking them around a bit. No real damage." Jorg snorted."Be lucky if we don't get our asses kicked. Remember they actually have training, and there's at least two of them if not more." Vizan growled."So we just let them take her." Then he thought it over and smiled."Of course if they should upset her, there will be two less Jedi to worry about." Jorg rolled his eyes. "Not funny Vizan. We may not like them, but at the moment we need them. With our dear cousin, King Vizla already bartering away our kingdom for support. There's no way we can hold him off without their help." Vizan went silent. It was the same arguement he'd had with his own father. So why was he poking his brother? Red. With her beside him. There would be no reason to deal politely with these weak willed hypocrites. Vizan breathed in a shallow breath, and looked at his brother. A man who was far from weak o a hypocrite. He shook his head hard.

The following is a lista of minor notes and observations that came to me, during my recente viewing of "Episode I: The Phantom Menace". I hope that te enjoy them:

Notes and Observations on "STAR WARS": Episode I – The Phantom Menace"

*Both the Trade Federation and Darth Sidious seemed surprised that Supreme Chancellor Valorum had dispatched Jedi Knights to act as mediators between the Trade Federation and Naboo. Apparently, this discovery had led Sidious to order a premature invasion of Naboo.

*Why were the Trade Federation fearful of the Jedi, recitazione as ambassadors?

*Why would Boss Nass and the Gungans want Jar-Jar Binks banished for simply being clumsy? Why did his clumsiness bother him so much? Was this an indication of the Gungans’ lack of tolerance toward imperfection? Could one say the same about those stella, star WARS fan who dislike Jar-Jar with a vengeance?

NOTES AND OBSERVATIONS OF "STAR WARS: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back"

*Exactly who was in command of the Rebel Alliance base on Hoth – Leia o General Rieekan?

*What was Leia doing on Hoth with the Rebel Alliance military personnel? Why wasn’t she with the other political Rebel leaders?

*Ah yes! The ”I’ just as soon baciare a Wookie!” dialogue between Leia and Han. Charming, although slightly . . . childish.

*How . . . o should I say when did Han and Leia reach the point in which they became attracted to one another?

*It was interesting to see how Obi-Wan’s ghost faded with the emergence of Han on a tauntaun.

*”Why, te stuck up,... half-witted... scruffy-looking ...nerf-herder!” - Another charming, yet childish exchange between Leia and Han.

In the sort of heartwarming storyline one might expect from an elementary-school-style episode of "Glee," a 7-year-old girl has attracted an outpouring of support from stella, star Wars enthusiasts who read that she was being teased for her fandom.

Katie Goldman's mother, Carrie, wrote on her blog that first-grade boys at Katie's school in Evanston, Ill., were teasing her over her stella, star Wars water bottle because "it's only for boys." Katie (whose stella, star Wars enthusiasm has earned her the nickname "Little Jedi") already felt different for being adopted and for having to wear an eye patch. In response to the bullying, she asked her mother if she could bring a rosa water bottle to school instead -- and then cried when her mom asked her why she wanted to switch.

Katie's story zoomed around several stella, star Wars message boards and sites the past month, picking up momentum as fan on Twitter sent messages of support and foto with the hashtag "May The Force Be with Katie." On Friday, 30,000 people on Facebook say they are wearing stella, star Wars-themed clothing in support of Katie. Even the cast of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" took notice, and sent Katie light sabers and other gear,...

"SOLO: A stella, star WARS STORY" (2018) Review

Following the release of Lucasfilm's ninth film, "STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI", the stella, star WARS fandom seemed to be in a flux. Although the film received a positive reaction from film critics and was a box office hit, for many reasons it created a division within the franchise's fandom. And many believe that this division, along with a few other aspects, may have produced a strong, negative impact upon the successivo film released da Lucasfilm, "SOLO: A stella, star WARS STORY".

Why did I bring up this topic? Easy. "SOLO: A stella, star WARS STORY" proved to be Lucasfilm's first box office flop. Certain film critics and defenders of "THE LAST JEDI" had claimed that the negative reaction to the latter film had an impact on the box office performance of "SOLO". In fact, many of "THE LAST JEDI" detractors claimed the same. Perhaps. Then again, I disliked "THE LAST JEDI". But that did not stop me from seeing "SOLO" at the theaters. Personally, I suspect other factors played a role in the box office failure of "SOLO" - media coverage of the film's chaotic production (that included the firing of its first...
