Duncan loves her. Theres no way hed be mean to her.

Duncan adores Gwen....there is no way he would ever treat her like dirt. Trent obviously did when he put her in that awkward position during season 2. Cheating to win her love and then making it awkward for her.....that's just in bad taste.

And I want to tell what do I think...I THINK DUNCAN LIKED GWEN SINCE SEASON 1 AND NOT COURTNEY!!

trent woouldn't treat gwen like dirt he loves her plus he went to all the troble to throw challenges in season 2 for her so of course he wouldn't treat her like dirt

Duncan will never treat her right looked at Courtney on season 5.Than on season 3 he never helped her with her problems because he was too busy making fun of Courtney little jerk.

Yeah...Duncan is an angel he would never hurt anybody.(sarcasm) He used to adore Courtney too. And guess what season 5 he looked at Courtney. You know season 3 but backwards. Yeah from the start I kinda of expected him to try Courtney again. Even before season 5 started. He adoring Courtney comes from on her skills. His adoring towards Gwen comes from her lay back side. If you compare that jerk with Trent who went through great pains for her. Than yeah Duncan differently looses. I'm questioning why ore people are pick Duncan over Trent. Duncan also left her at towards the people who was picking on her and he didn't even do anything about it. He was just seeing her get picked on more than half of the time. Sure there were the rare chances that he did stand up for her. But again it was very rare. He looked like he was just there to keep the triangle going. In fact they whole relationship was about loosing Courtney's and Trent's pride and breaking their hearts. They had a friendship thing going there. They didn't flirt on purpose. If they did I grew more hate towards those two. Duncan is a douche deal with it.
