When we arrived at "The Hotel D-Man" I expected it to be a simple house but was I wrong. The place was 5 o 6 stories tops. It was an accuall hotel!
"Ma I found another one!!" he said. A blond woman came downstairs. She didn't look anything like her son.
"Hi Honey!" She detto baciare her sons cheek. She then turned towards me. "Hi I'm Rachel! And te are.."
"Gwen." I detto giving her a smile. Well Gwen fallow me and we'll find te a room."
After mostrare me around Rachel stopped at a room. "Gwen I hope te don't mind roommates." I shook my head no. "Na. It would actuall be pretty cool to-" my sentence stopped as my jaw dropped. Standing infront of me was heather.
Heather was Queen bee of our school. She always loved to humiliate me.
Heather looked as shocked as I was. "Do te to know eachother?" Rachel asked. I snapped out of my shocked faze. "Um...ya from school....." I answered. Heather shook her head. "Ya... Well Rachel I'll help Gwenny here unpack." Heather detto as she closed the door in rachels face. Poor Rachel.
"What are te doing here GOTHY." Heather snarled. I rolled my eyes. "If te must know, I ran away from home." a look of sympathy appears on Heather's face. She quickly shook it off.
After moments of silence I spoke up.
"Heather why are te here?" Heather's eyes began to feel up with tears. "I-I ran away from home when I was 7......."
FLASH BACK *flash back music*
"DADDY WHAT ARE te DOING TO MOMMY!!!" a young Heather yelled at her father. "SHUT UP te LITTLE BITCH! I'M GIVING MOMMY WHAT SHE DISEVERS!!" Heather's father yelled.
Heather watched horrified as her father stabbed her mother in the cuore with a knife. "R-Run Hea-Heather!" her mom yelled with her last breath.
Heather turned towards the door and ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. "COME HERE te LITTLE ASS!!" she heard her father yelled behind her.
Heather hid behind a trash can her cuore racing.
END FLASH BACK *end flash back music*
"Rachel found me a couple of hours later. I never knew what happened to my dad." Heather's eyes were now flooded with tears. I didn't know what came over me but I gave Heather a hug. Heather seemed shocked da my action but soon she hugged back.
When we pulled apart Heather spoke. "Gwen after I've been so mean to you.... Why would te still be nice to me? She asked. I smiled.
"Because everyone diserves some kindness Heather." I told her. She then smiled to. "Thanks Gwen."
LATER
"So Gwen, Duncan tells me te were.... abused at home." Rachel said. I nodded my head yes. "Well what made te finally run away?" she asked me. Tears started to form in my eyes. "I-I don't wanna talk about it." I said.
A look of simpathy was on Rachel's face. "Most of te guys don't." she detto shaking her head. "Well do te want to know how Duncan arrived here?" she asked. I was a little shocked "Wait so Duncan isn't your real son?" I asked. Rachel laughed. "No. But he is the reason I started this place. It started like this..."
FLASH BACK
Rachel was about to walk into her house when she heard crying. "What the...." Rachel detto to herself as she tried to locate the noise.
The noise brought her to the bathrooms of her collage. She looked inside of the bathrooms to see a baby lying in the sink.
The baby seemed beat up. It had bruises on it and his skin was very pale. Rachel picked the boy up into her arms and hugged it. That made him stop crying.
A few weeks later, Rachel adopted the baby and named him Duncan.
END FLASH BACK
"I thought it was so horrid for some people to treat others this way that I opened up this place. If your hurt of just need a family te can come here." Rachel detto with a smile.
After a few moments of silence I broke it. "Hey Rachel can I tell te why I ran away."
