I think it's due to the fact that he's showing us his real emotions since Dylan and Posey are great friends just like the characters they portray.

I think Dylan is just a better actor than Posey. Also Stiles character is funny and sympatic and I seriously dislike both Posey and the Character Scott McCall.

Posey Is a fantastic actor. I love all of his scenes, whether with Dylan or not. He's adorable in them, he's heartwrenching when needed.
