I love Revolver. I always thought it was underrated. *shrugs* (I don't mean that as a dis or flame or anything. :) )

Abbey Road

I don't mean to hate on any albums. I mostly just posted this poll because it really annoys me how everyone calls Sgt. Pepper overrated these days. They're usually like "I prefer (blank)" where (blank) is more often than not one of the other albums on this list. Sgt. Pepper is one of my favourites so it really gets to me when people say that.
I do like Abbey Road, at least the first half. What gets to me is that everyone praises the "medley" section which I find a bit tryhard and pretentious. I didn't understand why all the songs were so short and "Polythene Pam" is the worst Beatles song ever in my opinion.
But mind you, I listen to the Beatles albums on Spotify. The tracks don't run into each other with no gaps like they're supposed to when you listen that way, so that could be part of the reason why I didn't get it.

^The songs were short because they never got finished (according to John Lennon and Paul McCartney in the Beatles Anthology book) Basically they were just songs that were never finished and placed on the album to follow one another like one long song :)

(If it helps John didn't like them either but he wanted to do something with them. This was there last album and there were tensions, I guess)

^Thanks for explaining that. I'm only a new Beatles fan so I don't know a lot of the information. It's just that some people praise the medley section as the "greatest musical achievement" which kind of bugs me.

^You're welcome! :) And welcome to the Beatles club!
Well, if you're interested in learning more about the Beatles I'd recommend the Beatles Anthology book it's actually by the Beatles. It's very candid and honest and covers everything from their childhood to their early days, fame and break up. It's really interesting :)

^Thanks, it sounds good.
Another band I'm a fan of is Birdtalker. You should listen to them, they're amazing and not very well known!
