This segnala commissioned da the Royal Nimean Academy's Study of Great Villains and Beasts Wing.
da the order of His Excellency, Chancellor of the Nimean Education Department, Jacob Nortren, this document has been approved for viewing da the general public and minimally taxed viewing da the population of Earth and Surrounding Colonies.

The first case of mortus amorae is reported to be that of horrologist's apprentice Nami Otara. At first, he reported that a very tall man walked into his master's clock shop, asking him if he had any friends. Otara replied that he did, and his master (Yoseph Vit) stated that the visitor proceeded to draw a rune on his head.
Vit asked the visitor to leave, but as he did so, he noticed that the man had whispered a suggestion to his apprentice.
Appearing as though he (Otara) had woken up from some sort of trance, he began to ask Vit who he was, and if he would like to buy a clock.
Vit replied that he was Otara's master, which earned a strange look from Otara. Otara detto that the visitor was his master.
Nonconfrontational da nature, Vit left his shop, guessing that this was a type of prank.
He returned an ora later, to find that all the shops in his store had been smashed up.
Running in to confront a theif, he was suprised to find that only Otara and the visitor were there. Otara seemed to be drawing a picture with a particular clock's inkwell and pen, and had smashed up all the other clocks to find it.
Vit began to order the stranger out and his apprentice to clean up the mess, but he was abruptly thrown out of the store da Otara.
Filing a complaint with the local gaurd, he marched upon his negozio with support.
Reaching the inside of the shop, however, Vit discovered Otara deceased with the stranger standing above him, sucking from him what the witnesses could only describe as a 'pale, golden light'.
Though Vit and the Gaurd acted quickly to apprehend the villain, he vanished, leaving no other clues than Otara, his face completley covered in his own tears.

Analysis da the Royal Nimean Academy has revealed that the beast that attacked Otara was a Keevtser (Harvester, roughly), and was a plague on the native Nimeans centuries before the Founders of Nimea came and conquered it.
According to legend, a Keevtser is a product of the release of Ma'arepeth (Guillotine, roughly), that preys on humans with great 'potential'. This normally includes the young, because they are seen as the ones with the greatest ability to do things.
da applying runes such as the khanna (surrender), a Keevtser can influence a victim to place the Amore of something (say, the victim's father) in the Keevtser, much like donning a mask. In this way, the Keevtser can influence many people at the same time (you can don many masks but still stay the same person).
The only acception to this is Amore of something not in the physical world, o of a specific idea.
It is supposed this is because the Ultimate and Inalienable Truth is, da definition, incorruptible, and even though things that only hold parts of it will prevent mortus amorae (if only for a little bit).
The best defense found is Christianity, though merely claiming to be Christian will not prevent te from being tricked.
If te find yourself being faced da a Keevtser, flee. It will not follow te because it does not work for itself. If any of your Friends are confronted da one, take them, no matter what may happen to yourself.
Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to challenge a Keevtser.

END.
