At midnight the fanpoppy nominations will end and
as the last few fan make quick decisions and hunt through fanpop to find the best content, other fan desperately add più content in hopes of being nominated. più well prepared fan all over fandom are busy planning speeches, practicing disappointed faces and hunting though profiles and the fashion spot for that perfect outfit and a fanpopable date.
Whilst all this was going on i went to catch the real scoop on the fanpoppy awards just for te guys.

My first interest was in the awards that have recieved the most hype and questions,
the special awards; The fanpop Four Award for Constructive Criticism,The Dave Lu Humanitarian Award and finally the Lifetime Achievement Award. Although I did not manage to find out what exactly the panel are planning to do, to make these awards so special i did find out what the panel are looking for in the candidates for these awards.

"we're really looking for persuasive speeches from the nominators and like we've mentioned in the forums, it's really about quality over quantity. We also want the winners to be just as great after the awards.
We're looking for the Fanpopper who offers help and support to the rest of the community and contributes and commenti to help other fans, and does so without guile o an ulterior motive. It's also about standing up for other Fanpoppers and just being a nice person in general, to make fanpop a nicer place to be, unlike SOME websites *cough* Youtube *cough*. "

so if te really want the person te have nominated to win, te better work on that speech and stress why your preferito is a quality fan

Now as the titolo says i promised some exclusive interviews and boy did i get some great behind the scenes info and gossip!

Firstly i caught up with the official announcer of the results and panelist, dazl

do te like being one of the fanpoppy panel, what pros and cons does this responsibility have?

Loaded question...
Pro: People have to be nice to me, I mean...j/k! It is a big responsibility,and at the end of the day, I know there will be hate and people will be angry with the results, like the Oscars (Damn Maris Tomei and her Oscar!) and da the way, it is pointless to send me hatemail, because I will just send it to the recycle bin in the sky.
Con: If Bliss, Hooch, o myself win anything, everyone is going to think that it was rigged.


do te think everything else will go smoothly on the day?

It better...*menacing glare*. I mean, do te know how hard it is to get Fanpoppy invites out when te have no idea where to hold them (Dave detto we couldn't use his place.)?


who will be on secruity? well once te find a place that is...

I'm thinking my personal army of cheese makers. Security, and food...*wanders off to look for cheese*

erm.. okay. Is there any backstage gossip te can tell us?

There won't be an open bar. We have to pay for this, dammit!


after my intriguingly bazaar talk with dazl i managed to catch up with one of the few users famous enough on fanpop to have their own spot, our own celebrity Kathiria82

as the highest contributer on fanpop, what do te think makes the best content, and what will te be looking for when voting?

I think that it`s so easy to just add anything and so many people do that and it drives me insane. I think as for links they have to be informative. it`s simple to just copy everything off Google so I look for if the link matters and what I got out of it. On video I am a tough critique because I post a lot of them. I like video that make the 4 min. o however long the vid. lasted to be worth it. I just hate when people post for the sake of posting, it makes fanpop boring. i am in Amore with immagini and it`s what I`m known for mainly posting on Fanpop. The image has to be high resolution in my book. I like immagini that stand out, colors, details etc. let`s just say the image has to be artistic because i feel like that`s what Fotografia stands for.
I am also a fan of people who create great spots. i have created over 100 spots on this site so that`s one of the reasons i feel so close to it.
When I vote I will be looking at the quality of what people post not the quantity.


now, te made a commento on one of the forum about certain people being competitive about fanpop, what consigli would te give to these people?

Would te consider me a real cagna if I named names. If this interview was for stella, star magazine it could get interesting. Some people on here just add to earn medaglie it`s so pathetic. I also realized certain users will earn the red medal in like a weeks time. It kills me how sad they are because all they want is to be recognized for something they truly didn`t earn.
My consigli to these people is "quit being so #%@#*!$ pathetic and GET A DAMN LIFE!"

If i won anything sure I`d give a speech. I would thank the fanpop 4 of course because they are my friends. I would know nothing about the site if it weren`t for their help.

i would Amore to win best new fan, i have only been around for a few months and would Amore to know that i've done a lot in a short spazio of time

as the creater of the fanpoppies, are they how you'd hoped they'd be and and are te pleased with amount of nominations that have come in?

i'm actually amazed at how big it is and how well it's been going, that's mainly because of blisslikethis, who organized everything and believed it was big enough to have a whole spot of it's own, so i'd like to thank her


Now as big as the fanpoppies are going to be another fanpop event has captured the interest of fan 'the cinders and blisslikethis wedding' so i thought i'd go interview the fiancée of panel judge blisslikethis, miss Carly Cinders

cinders, the dibattito spots which te have created has been nominated, so have many series of commenti which te have been part of, and two of your soapboxes have been nominated. How do te feel about being part of so many nominations?

Well I think it's great just to be nominated, especially for my soapboxes. I was really surprised when Eden picked my fanpop Friends articolo to nominate and really happy about my chimpanzee articolo because that took me so long to write and I actually had to look at notes and things. The series of commenti things, ah, those are just riots to participate in! The dibattito spot is great because of everyone there who makes it great. So I'm glad that its merits are being recognized, but there's a reason spot creators don't get these awards-- it's the folks who frequent these spots that make them awesome.


Do te think te will win any awards?

I think the dibattito spot has a good chance of winning. And I hope it does. As for the others, well, I may have good soapboxes but I know of a few others who are equally if not più deserving, so I don't know. And the series of comments, well... Those are just too much fun. If they win, then great, if not, well fine. But I'll continue to partake in them regardless.


will te be wearing the dress that te have been wearing in your icona for the past mese o something new to the big event?

As te so graciously pointed out that I've been wearing an evening toga, abito for the past month, I will probably wear that. And after that, I'm going shopping for tuxedos, wedding dresses and/or Rockette outfits (I'm thinking similar to Columbia in Rocky Horror) for my wedding to the wonderful and adorable and sexy blisslikethis. And after the ceremony, I expect to take her name and become Mrs. Cinders Likethis.


speaking of the wedding, have te made any plans yet o has your fioncée, bliss been too busy with the fanpoppies?

We decided to wait until after the Fanpoppies to plan the wedding, so yes, she's very busy. But I can wait. :o)

as the panelist that we have seen most of on the forum and updates, how are the panel's responsibilities shared between you, hooch and dazl?

haha, well i think this whole idea got a lot bigger than any of us expected, and hooch didn't have a lot of time o energy to expend on it. so, i guess te could say i'm sort of the over-seer of the awards. hooch is still the final word on any major decisions (and yes, he is definitely invited to the awards ceremony lol), and dazl is in charge of Scrivere most of the official soapboxes - such as listing the final nominees and announcing the winners


Exactley what are the plans for the big giorno itself?

the voting will take place the week leading up to the award ceremony, through private messages. once we've got all the votes, we'll announce the winners on the Fanpoppy Spot on the 23rd. we've still got some finessing to do for the awards ceremony, so it'll be a bit of a surprise :)


will any celebritàs like the fanpop four be popping up for the event?

i hope so! i know dave is really stoked on the idea, so i'm sure he'll stop by.


finally we've been talking to your fioncee, cinders who say te are holding off the wedding until the fanpoppies are over, has this caused any grief between the two of te o does she completley support your work?

i like to think she's supportive, but she might be secretly peeved


after hearing what's happening, the latest on the cinder like this wedding, the possibility of dave mostrare up, and plans for successivo year, i bet te thought i was done for the day? well i did too until i came across fanpop's most stalked man and thought I'd ask our very own johnminh a few quick questions

As fanpop's most stalked and sought after guy were te planning on taking a data to the fanpoppies o are te going stag?

My data to the fanpoppies is going to be my mom. I'm a total momma's boy, and she'll help deflect some of the stalkers with her instant "virgin son" powers. :p

I'll also wear my chewbacca backpack along with

I've heard you'll be throwing the crazy fanpoppy after party party is this true?

An after-party party? Sounds fun. But can we make it a week after the after-party? I'll need that much time to recover. :p
