Yeah.. I'm not Irish, but I've never heard it any other way. Personally,I think that if you pronounce it "O-Sheee-a" you sound a little dumb. No offense or anything, I'm sorry if that's a little rude.

eh? i think its O-Sheee-a cause well u have to pronounce the eeeee-aaaaa part, i think, ha! wat do i no im a dumb 13 year old. i mostly misspronounce everything so i souldnt no hehe.

but wat i think is tht everyone sould pronounce it how they want and unless they make a movie out of it ,which i really hope so, u say it how u feel. and i dnt think tht ian or kyle is irish though....no offense to them......it takes me awhile to say someones name right though......

I forgot about commenting on this pick. But Giovanna, Ian and Kyle are Irish. "The brothers are supposed to be black Irish" says Stephenie in an interview with the TwilightMoms. (Black Irish meaning an Irish person with dark hair as opposed to lighter hair,like red, that the Irish have been stereotyped with.)
And yes, shea butter is pronounced "she butter", but the Irish name is "shay" (or rather "O'Shay" haha)

I'm from Ireland, it's pronounced O-Shay. I can't believe O-sheeea has as much votes as it does, funny. O-sheeea is not an irish sound, it sounds more like it would come from some african/indian country to me.
