What do te think of Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth being peeta and gale?

when i found out, i cried. not hard but tears came out, this is HORRIBLE in my opinnon! this is the WORST casting director ever.
am i the only one who feels like this??

Congrats to them. It's just like any other book series that get made into movies. Most people hate the person they cast, but they end up being /really/ great. So I hope it works out like that. (:

Hmh, i suppose youre right. They must've earned the roles but i still fear that their already stardom may ruin the true essence of the series. I mean i just dont want my preferito book series to have the injustice of being shown through a horrible movie.

Everyone had their own version of these characters and had already picked out their preferito actors, so it makes sense for people to be upset at the moment. But that could change if te actually see them all in character. So far, I'm having flashbacks from when the cast for Twilight was released. The fan now are recitazione just as bad as the Twilight ones back then. Then again, I'm guessing a fair amount of te could possibly be the same fans.

I guess I'm just a bit più open minded than most fans. I don't want to complain since there's no point in doing so; there's nothing to benefit from complaining.

im not pleased with liam either i think he looks to old. its true there really is no benefit to complaining but idk i have a habbit of complaining:/

There's a lot of Film and tv shows where they cast someone in their 20s to play a teenager. So I guess I'm used to having to look at actors who are look "too old" for a part. I think a lot of people have that same habit. I know I'm guilty of complaining about something, but that's usually because I know for a fact of how terrible [in my opinion] a particular actor/actress is. I can't say that about Liam o even Jenn since I've never seen their movies. Josh, on the other hand, I know is a fairly decent actor since I've seen a few of his movies.

Yes! I totally agree! But I hate Liam more. I can kind of see Josh but he has to die his hair and work our più for me to be happy with him o even ok with him. Liam is not a bad ass!

@Kaylap~ Have te seen a movie where Liam has to be a "bad ass"? If te haven't then te can't really say that, because te never know. He could be a really good Gale for all of us know. te haven't seen him have to act like Gale and in that setting. He could pull it off and I think he can.

Why does Liam's realtionship to Miley Cyrus matter in his role to this series? What he does outside of his recitazione career doesn't matter. As long as he is a good actor then it's all good. te can always change the looks if thats what te worrieng about.

Yeah Liam Hemsworth just seems odd. Josh Hutcherson does have the boyish quality I imagined for Peeta, but Liam Hemsworth seems to take it a bit far bec the Gale i imagined wasnt so hardcore looking. Do te get me?

In the secondo book when Peeta hits the forcefield, “His lashes flutter open and his eyes meet mine. “Careful,” he says weakly. “There’s a force field up ahead.” I can definitely see Josh saying this.

Dude, calm down. Liam has to do is grow out his hair and maybe change the color. It's not all looks. Besides his role in the Last Song has nothing to do with this movie. What does Miley Cyrus have to do with Liam? Wasn't his fault he was forced to work with her. And so what if Gale is 16? A little make up and te could make Josh look older o younger.

Gale in the first book was actually 18, Katniss and Peeta were 16... just saying and remember Katniss says Gale looks like a man already.

But my domanda is why do they get acters that look nothing like the characters and dye their hair and make them wear lances and all ... cant they just find some people that actually look like them ??!!

They didn't just pick Josh and Liam for nothing. They obvisoly had SOME reason for it. They may not look the part, but according to Suzane Collins Josh was perfect for the role along with Liam. (I know this because I was Leggere an article) II mean it's not all based on looks. They have to play the part. te can change how well they act the part. So, te have to find a person who fits the part da ways of acting. te can always change the looks. Looks don't matter too much when they are casting, because like I detto te can always change them.

Why do te not like Josh? As redhawks said, looks are nothing, recitazione is what is important, and if you've seen the movie, Bridge to Terabithia, you'll know what a good actor he is.

Agreed. Gale doesn't really have a role in the first book, till then maybe he'll let his hair grow.

Don't worry, they will fix that, te don't think Suzanne will leave Peeta without ashy blonde hair and blue eyes, do you? These actors are good, all their Film have great reviews and I've watched a few and loved them. I have faith in these actors, sorry you're disappointed :(

Personaly I think Jen is the PERFECT person for Katniss and when the movie came out it proved my point. I was shocked. Jenn was EXACTLY how I pictured Katniss.

Gale - One of my least preferito people in the libri but in the movie? He kicked butt and thanks to the movie he moved up A LOT on my list. He was perfect for me. Not exactly how I pictured Gale looking, but it was close enough to please me. And who are we to say all these horrible things on how he did when all together, he had maybe a whole 15 minuti is the 2 ora movie!

Peeta - Peeta is apart of my superiore, in alto 3 people and I must admite, he was not exactly what I pictured Peeta looking like but again, it was enough to please me. And Josh did a wonderful job at playing Peeta! He had that part nailed!

Sorry if I let loose some, but some of the commenti really bugged me. (As I'm sure te can now tell.) All I have to say is thank God no one detto anything about Haymitch and Ceaser! I would've gone nuts.
