Her part really wasn't that big, so I can kinda understand why they decided not to have her character in the movie

When translating a book into a movie you have to streamline the story, cut away the excess and try to keep the core. The most important thing that Madge did was give Katniss the Mockingjay pin. They'll probably just have a different character give her the pin, one who has a larger role. That way they don't have to waste screentime introducing a character that doesn't feature much in the story.

i really dnt care but its incredibly stupid that they dont give her @least a couple seconds in the movie 2 i dunno kno give katniss the pin mayb?!? that was kinda important but w.e besides they rnt gonna pay some 2 b in the movie 4 lik 5 seconds handing her the pin

I don't care about her, herself much, but she was the one who gave Katniss the Mockingjay pin, which was big. They could have used some random blonde chick to do it. And, I guess I kinda did want to see the scene with the stawberries. So, I'm alittle disappointed. But whatever. I'm still excited for the movie. :]

i think the idea of Prim giving Katniss the pin is better, it gives the pin so much more significance!
