The Killers Domanda

How do te feel about "Sam's Town?"

I'm just curious. I'm working on a review for fenicottero, flamingo and in Leggere some other people they've detto that it's like Sam's Town (which I agree.) I also know that Sam's Town is likely their least popolare album to most people. I happen to Amore it, its my favorite. I was just wondering what some other fan thought of Sam's Town.

I Amore Sam's Town, it's my preferito TK album, without a doubt. It's definitely their best and their most underrated album. I think it shows that they had a lot of courage to step away from the Hot Fuss sound everyone knew and loved and try something totally different even though they knew they'd get hammered for it. Sam's Town shows that they've boldly done what few bands have done bfore and mastered it.

that's the way I've always felt about it. Sam's Town was the last Killer's album I listened to, and I'm glad it is cause I think its the most true to them.

I adore Sam's Town, though it took me a while to realize it. I became a fan as giorno and Age was released, so that was on the forefront.

It took me a while to get to know all the songs, order them, and observe their progression. I actually took every one of their songs, put them in a playlist in the order they were all released, and listened to it straight through. That was when I realized how much I Amore Sam's Town.

I think my preferito part about it are the instrumentals. The rhytem section is very admirable. Not too much basso and percussion, but the chitarra and keyboard aren't the stars.
(The rhythm section is always a make it o break it thing for me)

I especially Amore the ordering of the tracks. It starts out strong with Sam's Town, but not overpowering, then relaxes with Enterlude, but not boring. Then it continues as such to the very end. It brings te up and down without too much of a contrast, but enough for te to notice and have your emotions sway along with it.

I agree it's like fenicottero, flamingo in a way. this could be becasue Sam's Town is the album that Brandon wrote the most songs on his own. (Don't quote me! I'm not too sure about that.)

cassie, let me ask te a question, What do te think about Flamingo?

I like Flamingo. It's più relaxed, which I wasn't expecting, but I guess that makes sense because this project is più about him and not the band as a whole. But it's still good. I think people are right to compare it to Sam's Town, as the over all theme, but lyrically, I'd compare it to giorno and Age. They're not as complex and difficult to understand as Sam's Town lyrics, but how the ordering of the words does make te think, like on giorno and Age. The point of the songs are clearly stated, but they're not spelled out and spoonfed to te (like Hot Fuss. But I seem to be the only one who feels that way).
