I saw a post that detto that the animators of scar announced that there will be a fourth, but that was way back in 2006

Yes. Because The Lion King movie is a highest grossing film once. So if there would be any chances it can have a fourth movie. And with inspiration and dedication the film will come out as best as it is the first film. They just need the fan support and appreciation on having this movie. So just keep The Lion King in our hearts because a time will come if Gesù tells to have its fourth film.
