***SPOILERS***

A really great episode from start to finish!!! It was full of hilarious moments & we get to see Jane as he was before tragedy struck! I loved Lisbon's awkward reaction to Jane's "are we sleeping together" & then later on his patting her derriere! Jane's interest in Grace & subsequent chat with Rigsby asking for pick-up tips was priceless! Cho trying to con Jane into doing boring police legwork & Jane's reaction was very funny. Cho summed it up nicely when he said Jane losing his family made him a better person &, later on, Grace's shocked response of "I hate him", followed by Lisbon's response of "that's not him" were so spot-on! I could really empathize with Lisbon's sympathy for Jane when he said he was happy now & why couldn't she just let him be happy! Of course Lisbon had to act, at the end of the episode, after the team realized Jane took the money & that must have been hard for her. That will probably change their relationship now as Jane WAS happy & Lisbon reminded him of his tragic past by taking him back to his house & bedroom where he lost his family.

I also agree with Lanny32! I can't wait to see if their relationship has changed during the ending of this episode.. They'll have to mention it in next episode (in Jan.) or it'll be a bit strange!

Lanny32, love your observations, so spot on! It was interesting to see what Patrick was probably like in his con artist days. The last scene was heartbreaking though.

I think there were some really "Jisbony" moments in this episode. Thing is, Lisbon was really the one creating the moments. I mean sure, it was hilarious when Jane asked Lisbon if they were sleeping together and the whole thing at the bar as they were leaving was great. Did you realize though, that Lisbon was the one person on the team to take it the hardest? She was freaking out when she saw Jane in the water and she seemed so sad when she realized that Jane was honestly happy without her and the CBI. My heart broke in the last scene, but I thought it meant a lot to Lisbon knowing that Jane would be back to normal soon. sorry I ranted ;)
