Does it seem strange to anyone else that Ryan's old job at corporate hasn't been mentioned in season 5 yet?
I was expecting talk about an interview, or at least meet a new character who has Ryan's old job now.
What are your thoughts on it?

Yeah I'm surprised that issue hasn't come up yet. Maybe we'll see it soon, I don't know.

Or if Pam stays in NY, maybe Jim will inquire about it and see if the offer still stands for him to take it.

Or it could be that they have completely eliminated that job title and created something different.

I would like to find out about that, though.

In the deleted scenes, Troy is "filling in for Ryan".
