te looked at his green eyes as he was explaining how to do it. te had no idea what he was saying. "So ya got it?" "Yeah" te detto and looked at the paper. He took his arm off of your shoulder and scooted a little over back to were we was. He would glance over at te to see what te were doing. He chuckled as te stared at the paper. "You don't know how to do it do you?" "No" te detto and leaned back as your back didn't even touch the chair. te were slouched in your chair. "What were te doing when I was explaining?" "I don't know?" te detto and looked at him. "Yes te do" he detto and smiled as he poked your side. te laughed as te grabbed your side and sat up in your chair. The teacher looked up from her desk. te and Ponyboy acted your were doing your homework. She looked back down. "Don't do that" te detto and laughed. "Why? What were te doing?" "Nothing" te said. "Mmmhhhmm" he detto as he poked your side again. "I don't need your help" te detto and scooted away from him. "Yes te do" he detto and scooted closer.
te smiled at him, waiting for him to continue. He grabbed your hand. “I thought it’d be the coolest thing to be a train. I don’t even know why. Maybe because they’re always moving, they’re big, I don’t know.” He shrugs his shoulders.
“But as I got older, I realized I was like a train. Always pushing forward, no turning around of anything. From the looks of it, my train was going to end me up in jail.” He stops walking at the track switch.
“(Y/N), te were like my track switch. My train was headed for nowhere till te came along. Now I see my train going somewhere, to a house, a family, a life.” He pauses. “And I wanted to say thank you.” He says quietly.
