“My mom… Before she… te know… Started drinking,” he almost chuckles, giving off a small hint of a smile. “She told me something about stars.”

He turns to you, grinning. “It’s real stupid.”

“But why?” He whines. “I don’t like this.”

“But it’s fun!” te smiled.

“It’s not that scary.” te roll your eyes. “And besides, we’re already in line.”
