Although the 1998 version is utterly adorable and a hoot to watch, I much prefer the original version with Sharon and Susan. Sure it may be a little dated but nothing gets me out of a bad mood faster than watching Sharon and Susan discovering each other at last. Don't get me wrong I longed for a remake long before they remade it (and I , at the time assumed that they might just use actual twins this time. Meaning possibly Ashley and Mary Kate. Ew...I know) but I feel that it certainly could've done without the remake, IMHO.

I prefer the classic version rather than the new one.Cause well I grew up on the classic version so the new one just doen't appeal to me all that much. Although it is rather interesting that in the new one they have the orginal Vicky playing the mother in it. But all in all I'd rather have the classic Disney version.

I Amore the 1998 version. Cute, and it was Lindsay Lohan's best movie before she turned into a wreck. I like how the audience was "baffled" when it became known that Hallie and Annie were played da just one girl. Lindsay did great recitazione as well. I've been to Britain and even though her accent wasn't purely accurate, it was believable.
