A cute movie

I recently purchased the DVD for this movie and let me tell te that it was a pleasure to see a hand drawn animated film for a change instead of all this stupid 3D animazione that Disney does now instead of what they are really good at. Here is my highs and lows of PATF.

Highs

Great animation

The relationship were cute and funny especially Tiana & Naveen’s relationship.

The Musica is jazzy although I don’t like jazz Musica whatsoever .

The plot was easy to follow

A funny movie

Lows

The villain was terrible (sorry guys but I hated the way he died it was pathetic).

The ending was a bit rushed.

The plot was way too similar to cigno Princess as we have a prince turned into a frog and in the cigno Princes a princess gets turned into a cigno and fake princess is suppose to marry the prince, whereas in PATF fake Naveen is trying to marry Charlotte.

Otherwise than that I did enjoy the movie and I would watch it again. But te cannot beat The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and others.

I’ll give it an 8/10

If te Amore cigno Princess,The Little Mermaid then te will Amore this.

ForsakenMoon19 I will agree that Tianna shouldn't have been turned into a frog, seeing as how the curse was never meant for her and she wasn't a real princess!!! I do however love the villian but I'll agree it was pathetic how he died at the end, that was too rushed!! And I also felt differently about the ending as you did, I felt like it dragged on from the firefly's death scene to the wedding and then the parade in the city!!! I would have perferred Tianna stayed human throughout or at least became human again when the villian transformed her, and then kissed Naveen!!! Her kiss of true love should've been what broke the spell!!! Either than all this I do love the movie!!!:D

glelsey I also thought Facilier's deaths was too quick and simple. I loved him as a villain throughout the rest of the movie but the way he died just made him look weak. And yes, I'd have liked the ending to have not gone past so quickly. It was good of you to put jazz music as a high, despite it not being your personal taste. You have been very open-minded about this so kudos! :) I must admit, I prefer this movie to The Little Mermaid by quite a lot (I liked The Little Mermaid, but it didn't feel particularly special to me). I'm having a hard time comparing it to Aladdin; could be on par with that for me. But that's just my opinion; I think what you said about "if you like those movies you'll like this" is a fair statement. And probably true for most people! Anyway, good analysis. :)

faya27 I too, thought the ending was rushed. Facilier's death made him weak and made me feel sorry for him. When the bad guy gets defeated, we're supposed to feel a catharsis that s/he got what they deserved; not feel sorry for them. The plot was a string full of cliches. I understand that John Lasseter (who was the executive producer of the movie) doesn't like any Disney movie that was made when Eisner used to rule the Disney Company and tried to forget that those movies existed but we the audience, remember fondly of the Disney Renaissance and can't forget about them. I got The Little Mermaid vibes from the scene when Naveen made a deal with Dr. Facilier the same way Ariel did with Ursula. My siblings complained that Louis was a rip-off of Pumbaa and Naveen looked too much like Eric. Not that there's anything wrong with borrowing stuff from past Disney films, but I felt that unlike the other Disney Princess movies, The Princess and the Frog didn't bring anything brand new to the table.

My favourite & least favourite character’s in the Princess & the Frog

Here is an articolo on my favourite characters from PATF.

Tiana: The first African American Princess from Disney Tiana is a hardworking waitress in 1920’s New Orleans. She dreams of opening up her own restaurant out of her tips that she gets from her current place as a waitress. She is a attraversare, croce between Cenerentola and Belle (well I think anyway) because she’s hardworking like the two princesses I mentioned below.

Naveen: He has to be my favourite prince because his so witty and a real charmer(aka a womanizer). He gets transformed into a frog da Dr Faciller who is the villain in the movie.
