All the simpson dose (when it first stared) Was child abuse what the fat ass dose with the freak head boy is not natural and now (like 2008 stuff) Its trying to be like family guy and making fun of other peeps and the 100% suck at it!!
Why I Now about todays eip...Because my boyfriend love the show if any one was asking ¬¬
simpson can take the it going down the tubes because family guy is sooo going to kick its ass!!
both shows make me laugh all the time, i just think family guy is funnier
x
Eh imo i dont think Family Guy is that funny, their jokes alot of them i see are mostly sexual ones, and Simpsons have more storyline to it.
Family Guy is just crass and, while it can be hilarious, it's so shallow.
I <3 Simpson they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay betta
when i watch sunday nights shows on fox i laugh at the simpsons sometimes but family guy has more humor in new episodes but not like the simpsons.
Family Guy isn't funny to me at all, and the flashbacks, though they may be "funnier" have virtually no meaning with the storyline. It's just random and all over the place, and some episodes are just...wrong. Also, even if it's supposed to be about a "family", it barely isn't (yes, that's probably the irony of it, but still). The Simpsons, in the end, do actually have a family unit.
that's the only thing i have to say
The cast and setting of The Simpsons is pretty complex; the main characters each have their own lives and are all quite well developed. Heck, even Maggie gets her time in the limelight every once in a while, despite having a minor role in comparison to the other family members! The creator and writers did themselves a huge favour by giving the show such a huge cast of recurring/named characters with canonical personalities, by designing many locations within Springfield (and outside Springfield for that matter), and by coming up with events in episodes that can lead to story arcs. This show is almost as old as I am (older, actually, if you count its Tracy Ullman days) and still going strong thanks to the countless scenarios possible in the series. Some of the episodes even bring political themes into the stories, such as feminism and religion. Fantastic sense of humour too - they sure know how to deliver a joke. I also appreciate how sometimes the humour is very satirical and risky too!
Family Guy is also full of risky and satirical humour, and plenty of hilarious non-sequitur scenes (okay, so not everyone likes those, but I do). However, when it comes to Family Guy, I feel like the humour is the show's one and only strong point. The actual characters are not as deep and developed as the cast of The Simpsons, the show's quality (in terms of animation and soundtrack) is somewhat inferior, and the storylines are not very creative. So while I do love Family Guy's style of humour, I find The Simpsons just as funny, and comedy aside, I prefer it for other reasons too.
