1.I've listened to the Slender background Musica max intensity. Why don't they play it this loud in the game?
The reason they don't is because they want to force the player to think they actually are in a forest being chased da Slender Man. If they did play the Musica that loud, the player would hear it and realize, "Oh yeah, it's just a game!". However, in later games such as Hospice, when Slender appears, a high strings cord is played. The reason this happens is because the player is used to silence. When the cord is played, it startles the player and rattles them even more. However, to solidify the feeling that te are actually walking around in some random place rather than playing a video game, they still add on sound effects. And lets not forget that tension-building drum...
2.Why are the graphics so terrible?
Think of horror movies. The ancient ones have almost no effects at all, and yet they still scare the living daylights out of people. The modern-day ones rarely even get CLOSE to that scary. Also, they didn't have an add-on where te could view the notes you've collected because they want te to focus on finding them rather than is written on them. Also, they knew that if HAD added that on, people could go to that menu-thingy, keep it there and take a break whenever they wished. But the creators didn't want that. They wanted the players to think that they couldn't escape, hence the note: "Can't run....".
3.If the place is haunted, why are te there?
The reason they leave a couple holes in the story of the games is to actually make it più horrific. The person's imagination will fill in the blanks, thinking of the most terrifying scenario possible....
