Danila Kozlovsky continues the expansion of Russian actors to the West. Recently it was held the American premiere of “Vampire Academy” – the first part of the film adaptation of the bestselling autore Richelle Mead, in which Kozlovsky played one of the main roles, Dimitri Belikov, the son of a vampire and a human woman, such called dhampirs. Dimitri works in the Academy as a mentor of real Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. and younger dhampirs. In particular, he protects two Friends – Rosemarie and Lissa. On the eve of the film’s release in theaters, Kozlovsky met with MK to talk about the Hollywood experience, difficulties of translation and working with Olga Kurylenko, who became famous after her big role in “Quantum of Solace”.

Keepers
The Keepers are a group of humans, Dhampirs, and Moroi who live away from modern society. Usually they live in the secluded woods. The name of the group “The Keepers” could potentially be a play on words about how the group “keeps” the old ways of the Moroi.

The Keepers have a strong belief in the old ways that the Moroi government was run. Long ago, as the dhampir said, it was a battle to the death for anyone who wanted to be king o Queen of the Moroi. When the Moroi became più modern, they adapted the modern way of electing their monarch: through elections and tests.

Healing is a spirit ability which has been demonstrated largely da Lissa Dragomir. This is shown in the series as being her best skill as a spirit user. Adrian Ivashkov also displays this power, but in weaker quantities.
Lissa has demonstrated that she can heal any physical wound, although it has been discovered that this ability is rather limited in the way that it cannot be used for mental injuries.
It is applied that one must be very adept at healing to bring someone else back to life. When mentally connected to a spirit user after being brought back to life a person is shadow kissed.
