OMG! Is Nina Dobrev Leaving The Vampire Diaries? 

Nina Dobrev spent most of the weekend hanging out with her

castmates — including Kat Graham, Matt Davis, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Michael Malarkey, and Michael Trevino — by a lake. Not only that, but she treated her millions of followers to adorable snapshots, as well as messages that were nostalgic in tone due to words such as “grateful” and “TVD family.” Naturally, all these sentimental uploads made fang fans suspicious and led to some interesting speculation — namely, that the 26-year-old actress is departing the show at the end of season 6 and the impromptu holiday gathering was actually a farewell party in disguise.

Nina wasn’t the only one tweeting ambiguous pics and captions that left viewers in a state of panic. “Lake life in honor of @michael_trevino and @ninadobrev,” wrote a TVD crew member on Instagram. The hashtag #NinaWeWillMissYou” was also a popular hashtag choice.

Whoa! Considering it’s neither star’s birthday, this tribute sounds an awful lot like a goodbye, doesn’t it? We already know that Michael is starring in a new ABC pilot that’s being produced by the creator of

— but has Nina also landed another role and kept the news on the low-down to keep everyone in suspense?

Well, we don’t actually know if their characters are being killed off, but it’s hard to imagine such beloved, talented individuals leaving for good. We can picture the writers sending Tyler off on an epic adventure or giving Elena Gilbert a break for a few episodes in season 7 (perhaps to visit her younger brother Jeremy or conduct some medical field research in another country?), but they’re too important to the world of Mystic Falls to vanish forever. Moreover, we can’t imagine that anyone involved with TVD would have accidentally revealed such a

twist considering how their boss, executive producer Julie Plec, is as ‘anti-spoilers’ as they come.

That said, let’s not assume the worst case scenario right now, and instead avert our attention to super cute images of the

stars living the lake life dream, complete with boats, pinatas, and group hugs!

Omg I hope shes not leaving!!!! I mean she’s basically the main character if she leaves they wouldn’t they have to cancel the show???? I know millions including myself would be devastated if the show gets cancelled I love seeing Elena and Damon they’re the highlight of my week!!!! Nina has to stay I can’t imagine what vampire diaries would be without her!! Even if they replaced her with a different actress it wouldn’t be the same vampire diaries isn’t vampire diaries without Nina!!! I really hope she decides to stay I’d be so deviated if she left we already lost the adorable Jeremy Gilbert I don’t think tvd can handle losing another Gilbert right now if ever!!!

If they leave then the only reason to watch the show is for Damon and stephen. If they leave too I’m done watching it especially when we all just tried to save the Salvatore house

I think if Elena or Taylor leaves the show it wouldn’t be the same! Elena has to stay , if she leaves most of the viewers of vampire diaries ain’t going to see the show anymore she keep the show so interesting. the whole show is based around her. I’m 99.99% sure that it was just a weekend for fun and the media is making it into something its not. they always do.

I don’t really want either to leave but I don’t understand how it would even be possible for Nina to leave the show. Michael, I get. Nina can’t really leave the show, can she? She’s the main character. The show is kinda ultimately about Elena.. If she left then I doubt they could go on much longer. Granted, Elena’s storyline hasn’t been that good recently but again, she’s the main character.

Anything is possible but I don’t think they would kill off big characters! Never know, it is The Vampire Diaries. I hope they don’t.. I love them!!!

Who the fuck cares? I dont know who irritates me more – Nina or Elena. Anyway let’s face it… There is no help to TVD anymore so the new actress won’t make this better. First two seasons were awesome. The rest can also be called The Vampire shitty diaries.

The show practically revolves around her. If she leaves the show might as well be cancelled as they will lose most of their viewers. The so called ‘Leaving Party’ will just have been a bit of fun. Did Steven (Jeremy) get a leaving party? No. Rumours have been going around since October last year and she isn’t the only one who is yet to renew for another season. Unless it is 100% confirmed then we can’t jump to conclusions but personally she probably isn’t leaving.
