Yes I was happy but not because I want to see delena happen slowly!! I'm Stelena/Bamon all the way babe!! And I can't wait until season 2 starts!!! *SQUEEE!!!!!!

The writers are doing a FANTASTIC job with their development. I admit, I had my doubts when I saw that promo but thankfully it was DK. My faith was restored in JP and KW :] They're building DE up so well, I'm gonna burst from happiness when their real kiss happens! DE are the REAL love story in this show! <3

Actually no they're not!!! It's a dumb love triangle afterall and besides she just declared her undying love to Stefan in the finale so...excuse me for smiling about it;)

The writers focus more on Damon/Elena then they do Stelena, and give them better dialogue and scenes together. Sometimes it even looks like they're trying to make a joke out of Stefan and Elena, by giving them these off the wall sickeningly sweet scenes. (Which, I guess some ppl like though, so to each their own)

It's clear who they want to be the real love story of the show, that's why I said that. It's my opinion. You can smile all you want about Stelena :] We all ship different couples for different reasons, that's fine. I prefer my couples to have passion, and build-up.

Stelena is the main couple. Damon is just backup boy in case anything goes wrong. I am completely fine with the writers stalling Delena's first kiss. If I had my way, they wouldn't kiss at all. But alas, that will eventually happen. Here's to putting it off as long as possible. Unless, of course, if they have it soon then make Elena slap him. I'd be all for that ;)

I was so relieved, even though I already had the gut feeling from the GO promo that it was Kat Damon was kissing and not Elena.

I completely agree with ya SpuffyDelena.As you said, Delena has that friendship thing growing up,while Stelena is just that 'I love' you thing that everyone is tired of. And Bonnie and Damon don't even talk to each other... I can't see why they're called a couple but... is MY opinion.

Agree totally with ForsakenMoon19 & TypicalSquint...seriously you can moon all over about how Stelena is just a stalling point, and how the writers are building all up for Delena. But I think not. =] If it happens it happens, but in the end Stelena will be forever. <3 Look at the books!

At first I thought it really was Elena and I thought SLUT, 'cause she was just telling Stefan how she loved only him, then went around and kissed his brother for no apparent reason(she's made it pretty clear she doesn't want Damon that way). So, when I found out it was Katherine, I got some respect back for her.

i really want to see that delena kiss but i dont want it to be rushed and then a horrible delena kiss. i want them to develop a bit more and have it be a very wonderful moment for us delena fans....something for us really to look forward to.

I was disappointed but overall, I was relieved. Everyone knows great, EPIC couples are all about the build up, and well, to tell the truth Damon and Elena need MORE! <3

I don't really know how to answer this one.
I'm not happy that it was Katherine instead of Elena, but I'm not mad either.

My thoughts are:
1. Katerine's return is going to make for such a great season 2 opener and beyond.
2. I can't wait to see Damon's reaction when he finds out Katherine impersonated Elena. He will not be happy.
3. I'm so excited for an actual Delena kiss waaay down the road when the feelings between them are mutual and not one-sided.

Elena would never do that to Stefan. And Damon was feeling guilty. He knew how awful that was. It's sad Katherine played him for a fool one more time, but it seems he likes that.

The writers would have been idiots to put in a DE kiss this soon. They're just now becoming good friends, let's keep it that way for awhile.

i knew that it was katherine the second that she was on the porch. but i always want elena and damon to kiss. however it would have been too soon! damon knew that it was katherine, she was the love of his life! just one kiss would most definitly be easy for damon to know tht it was katherine. u could also tell that he knew by how he touched his lips when he was leaving.

It was to early for them to kiss. It made no sense to me, Elena would have definitely pushed him away.
Also, these shipwars are silly. Both the couples are given equal amount of time and attention.
