They've hung out way more. And Damon told him that he wished he'd been able to save Anna. Jeremy could be a future brother-in-law >:) Plus it said that in season 2 Damon was going to become a father figure for Jer. I don't know if i like the whole "father" thing but they will be getting closer :)
