Loved the Forwood scenes <3
But overall, quite disappointed for a mid-season finale :/

The Forwood scenes, Damon/Alarics little thing and the beginning Damon/Elena/Jeremy scene were my favorite parts. Everything else was just...yeah. Not exactly the midseason finale I expected.

The only good parts were the Forwood scenes.
Other than that, it was pretty damn MEH.
Such a disappointing ep to go with in a 2 months hiatus. *shaking my head*

I expected something waaaaaaaaay better.

After it was over, I ran out saying that it was the worst episode ever.
The only thing that I liked about it was the Caroline/Tyler scenes. I loved them! <3

Forwood was the best part other than that, I was disapointed

Taroline was so amazing& intense. Liked the cute Damon/Elena/Jeremy scene but so disappointed that Stefans already fuckin out& there was basically no time for Delena bonding. Wtf. And Stefan pissed me off cus he just left Katherine. Team badass was pretty good. Also hated the Rose/Damon xP

I can see I'm in the minority here but I loved every second of it! Team Badass was awesome, Elijah surprised the crap out of me, Forwood was beyond precious, and I for one kind of sort of ship Damon/Rose so I hope she doesn't die! (I'm a diehard Delena shipper, but if she can have Stefan, why can't he have Rose in the meantime?) I felt AWFUL for Katherine though, because she really does love Stefan and look how he keeps treating her...sure I get it, but it's still sad. Anyway, all in all I thought this episode was an amazing mid-season finale. Sure it was crap in the Delena department *sad face* but everything else intrigued me.

I hate that cliffhanger! Who cares what happens to Rose? She can die for all I care, she's not even a main character!! That was the most dissapointing for me. How the episode ended. Everything else was okay though. *_*

Tyler and Caroline were just amazing.

I LOVED IT!!

I didn't completely hate it,and I liked the Forwood and mini Delena scene.

HOWEVER,the episode felt like a filler and what I mean by that is that for a episode that is just before over a month's break,it wasn't brilliant. I mean,I was expecting a really big cliffhanger and instead it was just 'Will Rose survive or not?' I mean,how many people can honestly say they give a shit whether Rose dies or not? Because I don't.

JP and KW should expect crap ratings for 2x12 because this episode isn't good enough for an episode that's the last one before a break,though I'm not mad because we've had bad episodes in the past,I'm just disappointed.

As an episode it was great and ther Forwood scenes were just awsome!! But the stelena end....GROSS...But just because I'm all for delena...Well, anyway pretty but not so tense the final...exept for the delena shipper that are disappointed again, but whatever...

Kinda dissapointed. I know the wolf bite is kind of important but... the cliffhanger is Rose?? I don't even care about Rose!!! She can die all she wants... I know the thing here is the werewolf bite and what it does but I don't care about her. When the ep ended I was like, "okaaaaayyy, like I care about Rose..." The good thing is that at least she did something useful and the writers used Rose as a guinea pig for the werewolf bite effect and not any of of the other vamps, if she dies I won't be sad.

Forwood was THE best of this episode. The transformation was just WOW! And I also liked the Damon/Elena/Jeremy moment at the beginning.

=> I like all of these, and the episode ruin that for me. I watched the promo and i was like " wow this is gonna be my favorite" Jinx it =))) It's the worst

After rewatching the episode I realize that this wasn't that bad of an episode (After I got over there being only one Delena scene + that the Steferine tomb sex scene was just a dream/shorter). There were actually alot of things I did like; Tyler/Caroline scenes (although Tyler's transformation was too long), Damon/Rose moments (made me like Rose more), Stefan/Katherine (still got a hot scene + a sad scene in the same episode) and the Delena scene (loved when Elena threw the pillow).

However as a mid-season finale I expected more, especially from the cliffhanger itself. I was like why is this what they are leaving us with until the end of January? I thought it would end on Tyler almost attacking Caroline and the aftermath of Stefan/Katherine sex (which in my opinion would've been an amazing cliffhanger). So overall I think the episode was good but it had the potential to be awesome.

Stefan and Elena reunited!
Stefan/Katherine sex was a dream. PRAISE THE LORD.
Elena freed Stefan from the tomb. I love love love how much of equals they are. That is why they'll always be the right one for each other.
Stefan-Elena parallels! Proving yet again that they are the anchor couple of the show.
Damon got pwnd.
Tyler/Caroline broke my heart.
And I am acutally glad the cliffhanger wasn't life changing. I would have died during the hiatus then.
