How the story will end: Inevitabilities of The Return: Midnight

Also if your a Stefan/Elena shipper.... please dont hate me

Since I began Leggere the Vampire Diaries series, there hasn't been one moment I haven't thought Elena and Damon belonged together. From the time of their first intense meeting in the gym at her school, I've loved these two together. Not only is Damon hot, wild and dangerous, he is an unapologeticly unique character. While Stefan sits around and whines about the road his life has taken, Damon has accepted his new life and hasn't looked back once. Needless to say, when the Return trilogy came out, I was ecstatic. Three whole libri focusing mainly on Damon!! Can I get a hell yeah? In The Return: Nightfall, despite the whole possessed da the evil malach thing, I was so happy a book finally delved deeper into the huge mystery that is Damon Salvatore. Recently The Return: Shadow Souls hit the shelves and, of course, I bought it the same giorno it came out and finished it the giorno after. The end was something no one would have guessed. Damon, the Lord of Darkness, the vampire of all vampires, the despiser of humans, became one. Now I think their are four things that are inevitable in the successivo book:

1. Stefan bites Damon:
-Damon has always been the più powerful of the two brothers and now, a mere mortal, his little brother is now the one with all the power
-Damon is Stefans competition in the quest for Elenas cuore and Stefan probably will want to mostra Elena that he is stronger than Damon and he can take care of her and keep her out of harms way better than Damon can.
- Damon took the mortality that had been intended for Stefan and even though it was unintentional, Damon is now as human as Elena and Stefan is still doomed to an eternity of immortality and watching those he loves die
- Its time for a little payback for all the years of Damon making him look like a little bitch!!

2. Matt and Damon fight:
- Matt has tried to fight Damon before but Damon, as a vampire, easily defeated him
- They are now on the same level and they can have a fair fight
- Matt is still in Amore with Elena and, as shown in The Return: Shadow Souls, he is jealous of Damon because Elena loves him in a way she never loved Matt

3. Elena and Damon Have Sex:
- The two obviously Amore eachother
-Damon realized in the last book that Elena was a virgin, and if she were to stay with Stefan, she would stay a virgin forever
-Since giorno one they have had a very passionate realtionship and have always gotten caught up in the moment, whether its sharing just a little too much blood, o baciare in public in a place that kills people for such things
- As a vampire, sharing blood was the most intimate Damon could be, but now, as a human, he can make Amore to her for the first time
- Damon now can fully realize how string Elena is because now he is on the same level as her, and now desires her just as much, if not more, now
- Stefan, being the honorable Renaissance man he is, will now realize that Damon is better suited for Elena than he is and will step aside and let them be together (fingers crossed!!!)
- Damon, as ironic as it seems, is now the one that can offer Elena a normal life

4.Sage confesses his Amore for Damon
- So, maybe im the only one that thought this but i was getting some vibes from Sage from the minuto he first appeared out of nowhere to rescue the damsel in distress (Damon)
- At one poimt Elena stared lovingly at Damon and when she turned around she noticed Sage was looking at Damon in the same way and when he saw that she noticed he started blushing

Im feeling pretty sure about my predictions, but the last one might be something i was just thinking. Let me know what te guys think!!

So thats what i think will happen!!
maybe not alll those things but hey, a girl can dream right???

ScottishChic I don't hate you (for your please don't hate me) Sorry, I so hope they DONT have sex. I don't care if Elena is a virgin, I think she belongs with Stefan and Damon belongs with Bonnie. As for this Sage guy, let Damon be gay with him. I can't see Stefan with anyone BUT Elena!! I think it would totally destroy the Vampire Diaries, I mean the POINT is the FIGHT, right? They keep fighting and fighting but Elena is supposed to be the strong girl who can resist Damon, sort of. Not to mention it will KILL the Stelena fans and they'll never like the books the same way again. It'll like kill the popularity or something, I'm too sad to think properly right now!! :( Sorry but, *crossing fingers there is no sex between Elena and Damon*

delena4life I can see where your coming from but I totally don't see Damon and bonnie actually having a relationship. Damon is attracted to strong independent girls and Bonnie is like the exact opposite of that. I think Stefan is too weak to handle a girl like Elena. I think Stefan still sees Katherine in Elena and that's why he loves her so much but Damon realizes that while Elena looks like Katherine, she is her total opposite. Stefan only wants to see delicate, innocent, perfect Elena while Damon accepts her flaws and loves her even more for them. The Stefan/ Elena relationship is a totally highschool relationship that isn't meant to last forever. Damon and Elena have a mature relationship built on the fact that they are so similar and they truly understand one another. But that's just what I think! Pretty much everyone I know loves Stefan more than Damon but there's just somethig about him that makes me want him to come out victorious in the end.

Pinkvamp I doubt Elena and Damon will have sex because L.J is pretty clean and won't really go into that kind of thing. But i agree that Stefan would want to do the honerble thing and let Elena have a normal life despite letting Damon have her. Damon and Elena are perfect for each other.

chloeeLdoram i agree with you tht.. damon and elena should be togeather .. but he wont stay human.. i read somewhere els tht there will be a new character in the next book and this person will change damon bk to a vampire :/ i hope it isn't tru because i wont elena and damon togeather .. cnt wait for the next book not long to go :D counting down the days XXx. DAMON & ELENA FOREVA

Lannieluv7 I dont knwo what will happen with Delena but i kwo what Damon;s feelings for Bonnie will grow stronger. I dont know if that will make him think about being with Elena.

KATIE4DAMON I don't think that Elena and Stefan should be together . I was laughing like hell when I read the chapter in Shadow Souls when Damon became human . Can't wait for Midnight

joisyhearts one of the commenters up there LOL, you mentioned the stelena fans being devastated if D/E were endgame, you do realize that the delena fans would be devasted if S/E were endgame as well and well, i don't really think it would destroy the popularity since DE has the biggest fanbase by far, and it would actually please the majority of the fans just my opinion :)
