	FutureDancer picked Sort of: I'm torn about Shane at the moment. On one hand, he's a really broken person. His mental state doesn't seem to be the best either. And he really thought Rick was dead. No heartbeat, walkers, soldiers on a killing spree.. It wasn't very likely that Rick would have made it out alive. Shane had good intentions. And on the other hand, Shane tried to rape Lori and was prepared to shoot Rick. Jealousy is the problem here. Shane was Lori's husband and Carl's father in his own mind. All that went away when Rick showed up. Shane just wants his 'family' back. The family that Rick took away from him. Like I said, his mental state is getting worse. The stress and the jealousy and the guilt are really probably making it really hard on him. I just.. I don't know. I still have hope that Shane is a good person. TWD just hasn't proved it to me yet. She is not high on my list either. She should be ashamed of herself for her behavior, irregardless of her husbands alleged death. He says he didn't hear a heartbeat... I still think it's all a lie. Although he had the good intention to rescue his friend. Fear got the better of him. I don't think Rick had no heart beat. I think Shane heard what he wanted to hear so that he could step into Ricks role has deputy, husband and father. If you watch the opening episode when the two are sitting in the police car talkign about women... The moment Rick started to talk about his wife - Shane went quite and acted arkwardly. Perhaps he has always been jelouse. Perhaps he wasn't prepard to let go yet. He did try to take from her... But She to be fair... She gave it all to him and then took it away.
