The original Winx Club takes place in Gardenia on Bloom's home planet, Earth. The series starts with Bloom discovering she is a fairy and Stella taking her to Alfea College For fate in the realm of Magix. Bloom meets her other roommates, Flora, Musa, and Tecna. Together, they form the Winx Club.

However, the story of Fate: The Winx Saga is very different and much più dramatic. Winx Saga tells us the story of Bloom's point of view as a 16-year-old fuoco fairy. The mostra informs us that she was swapped at birth with another child, who died shortly after a cuore defect. This storyline is much più complicated and scary than the original story, and that's one of the problems I have with the show.

My other problem is that Fate: The Winx Saga was accused of whitewashing. The original Winx Club was praised for its diverse group of fairies, but when Winx Saga came out, all of the characters were whitewashed, except for Aisha. Tecna was also not seen in the series, and neither was Roxy, and Flora was renamed Terra. There are also now only two specialists; Sky and Riven. We also see that Terra is the target of Riven's teasing and Bloom is the main focus of the mostra now.

Bloom has at least stolen the spotlight once in the original series, but now, she's the main focus of the show. The mysterious and darker themes of Winx Saga were surprising to many Winx Club fans, as they were expecting each of the character's personalities to shine. Bloom is always so focused on her past, she forgets about the consequences of her actions and goes headfirst into problems without thinking. Bloom's Friends are very supportive of her even though she put them in danger multiple times, and she didn't care when Aisha was having trouble with her problems. Bloom has now Lost her personality. Also, Musa Lost her mom and that was hardly mentioned in the series, Stella's parents' divorce was rarely spoken about, and Aisha's childhood...? Well, that's another story.

Let's talk about Bloom. Is she the protagonist, o antagonist?

First of all, Stella spread a rumour that Bloom was actually a changeling. Unfortunately, this went too far, causing Sky to end his relationship with Bloom, which, in turn, caused her to do some things to him that...weren't nice.

Bloom isn't perfect, but she does have some qualities that are likeable. In one episode, Sky tells Bloom that she doesn't need to go searching for the ring, but Bloom interrupts and tells Sky that it would be the right thing to do since she was the one who Lost it, and therefore, she was at fault. This is the first time fan have actually seen Bloom take ownership of her own actions, even though Stella was being incredibly rude and conceited.

Overall, I don't think Fate: The Winx Saga should receive that much hate, but still, they need to work on diversity and inclusion
