for people who have seen Jim Henson's 'Labyrinth',have te heard that Tim has shown interest in remaking the movie?

Well I for one am not a big fan of remakes of the great 80's movies. Labyrinth happened to be one of my preferiti and I don't want to see it ruined o CG'd to death!All I can say is if it is redone Bowie better be in it, there is no other Goblin King....

I don't know. Tim burton has had experience with claymation, for example The Nightmare Before Natale and Corpse Bride. I think if he kept CG out of it o at least had good old George Lucas and Brian Froud on the scene and bring back good old Bowie to help with this, he'd be cool. I don't mean Bowie to be in it again, but to have those guys around would be a smart idea.

Although I'm curious to see what he'd do, it is Tim Burton, so it could be a interesting idea o terrible remake. I hope he wouldn't put his style too into to ruin the characters, I'm sure with his imagination he could make it più sinister. "The King of the Goblins fell in Amore with the girl."

It's rather all interesting I think I'd wait and watch quietly to see what he does. Still a part of me says no, Jennifer is Sarah and David Bowie is and always will be the Goblin King, also it was Jim Hension's final work. I'd suggest building from the original ideas o continuing it. Just not from the manga which was good lord terrible.

I'm sorry but I think the Musica would have to be cut out of it. That idea was Jim Hension's alone and can't be remade. Also I don't want to see some actors trying to sing o some new kids who think they can sing, another thing of the 80's they picked people well for their roles, for talent not appearance. (Not saying David o Jennifer don't have both).

i think if tim burton got lady gaga, that she could play a good goblin king. o adam lambert. they both are weird and pretty good singers. and i trust tim burtons genius thoughts. =]

Although I am interested in seeing what Tim could do with the Labyrinth, I know there will be a load of people against the idea.
It was rare to cerca for information about his Alice in Wonderland movie without seeing a few commenti from haters, so I really wouldn't want to see such a reaction again if he does go ahead with a Labyrinth remake.

Also, the storyline of Labyrinth is a little bit similar to Alice in Wonderland (young girl plunged into a different, mysterious world controlled da a harsh ruler and meeting unusual beings along the way) so if he does a remake then I think the idea should be set aside for a few years o so.

(EDIT: Wow I only just realized how old this domanda was, so seeing as nothing else has been detto publicly about this idea then I'm guessing it might not be going ahead, o not, who knows)

i think it would be cool if they got adam lambert to be the goblin king. get david bowie to help with songs and adam would rule at it. too bad fan cant be in the movie o help with making it. that would be sweet.
