I feel like some of this may be disagreed with, so please don’t come at me with pitchforks! :)

NCIS is not a drama.

I consider it to be somewhere halfway between Law and Order SVU, and Rizzoli and Isles. SVU focuses, almost entirely, on the crimes occurring in each episode. We do get glimpses into characters’ personal lives every so often, but it’s rare- it isn’t the focus of the mostra da any means. Rizzoli and Isles focuses much più on the personal lives of the characters, as well as the crimes. The entire thing isn’t about Maura and Jane, but I think it focuses più on the main characters...
