A-Tom to leave Topp Dogg and participate in the male version of \'Produce 101\'

Topp Dogg\'s A-Tom is leaving the group and participating in the male version of \'Produce 101\'.

Star News\' exclusive report on February 28, A-Tom decided to leave the group to participate in the competition program. 

Hunus Entertainment first stated, "It\'s true that one member will be departing the group and participating in the program but we cannot reveal who that member is."

However, Star News found out that the member is indeed A-Tom. Hunus Entertainment eventually confirmed with the statement, "Members other than A-Tom will not be participating in \'Produce 101\' season 2. The team will stay together." 

The first recording for \'Produce 101\' season 2 started on February 26. The show is scheduled to broadcast in mid-March.

For people wondering why members from already debuted groups are joining this program and think it\'s unfair, it\'s because they couldn\'t get enough trainees to participate in the show and vital piece of information that has been lacking in these articles; for those people criticizing the companies for letting members from already debuted groups joining instead of just \'properly promoting them,\' get a clue, THIS IS promotions!

I\'m sorry but isn\'t this horrible show that exploits children\'s lives of wanting to make it into an industry with less than a 10% chance that ruin some their dreams before they even have a chance to try for TRAINEES, it\'s sad because theres so many under rated groups but this is getting ridiculous

I feel awful for all unknown rookies and trainees competing in this. Fans are gonna vote for the people they know and the other boys don\'t stand a chance. Not to mention, by letting these idols that have already debuted compete, I feel like they\'re basically saying that they\'re on the levels of rookies and trainees...

but if you think about it even if some trainer are not known (many are) the company stans will still vote for them no matter what, so it\'s similiar .. the only thing i think it\'s ridicoulos is nuest since they have a stable fanbase so in their case i totaly agree with you

He is just on hiatus and he will go back to ToppDogg after this. Calm down. Hansol recently said to believe in ToppDogg and hunus so Toppklass lets do so. And Allkpop you sure chose some good ass pics for your articles... 👏👏👏also if ToppDogg members or the group in general are having activities or doing stuff like releasing choreography videos (hansol released 3 a few days ago) its not news to you huh ?  😐😐😐😐
