Toy Story Article: What happened to Disney?

I remember when I was little, I loved Disney and I still do today. I remember all the good Disney Film like Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Bugs Life, all the Disney Princess movies, Ect. That is the kind of things Disney was represented da and the things most people grew up with in their childhood.
Now if te were to ask a little kid what their preferito Disney movie o mostra is they would say somehting like Camp Rock o Sweet Life of Zack and Cody! What happened to the good stuff? Now everything is about boyfriend and girlfriends, I even know an 8 anno old who has already dated someone.

trgirl i agreee with everything you said when ever anyone talks about disney now days theyre talkin about disney channel with music videos and fashion crap i remeber when they had the disney channel that showed an old movie like fox and the hound every day

shenelopefan Yeah, now all Disney`s series are about lots of adult people playing teenagers characters, and stupids situations about teenagers that are 18 or more and never kissed anybody. I even hate all that crap of the Disney`s movies like camp rock or starstruck because of one simple reason, It is imposible that every actor in this channel: .Have a part on a sitcom .Have a part on a movie .Be a good singer .Plays an instrument That`s are things that I hate about Disney cahnnel

william_laughs When I was little, I liked Disney movies, but I also liked a lot of junk like transforming robots, the Adam West version of Batman, and so on. So I think kids have varied interests. Disney is just being shrewd and marketing to "tweens" as well as family audiences. Toy Story 3 was a big hit and to me that's in the best tradition of the all-ages fun they have become known for. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and stuff like it aren't classics, but it is okay for TV. Kids need shows like that too. On another note: 8 years old is too young to date unless it's a play date. Kids like to pretend to be older than they are, but I think the parents need to step up and not blame the media. Hannah Montana isn't so bad that a parents can't explain to kids that their life is different than that TV show.
