If it was the books it would be both, but since it is just the tv show Eric. I am not liking what they are doing to her in the tv show. I really like how she was a hapless hero in the books. I don't like all the other supernatural powers they are giving her. Like being human+ is bad. I think that was what makes this character endearing. She can just read minds, but that gives her enough strength of will to do more in her life.
