Once upon a time…
Wait, should we start the story like that? Because, it's rather difficult to find a proper opening for it. We can't say Once upon a time, because this is not a fancy fairytale. It is not.
Or, we could start it like this. It happened in feudal Japan…
During the time, the country was very wealthy, no war happened, no droughts, no floods, no danger. However, the people were not completely happy, because of a long-lasting, legendary fear had existed, threatening every single person, from generations to generations, throughout the land… What was it? Atop a high mountain, high above the land, lived a fearsome monster… Every month, it sent its aids down to the kingdom below its lair to collect young men and women, ready for it to devour. Years and years had gone by, yet nobody could kill the terrible monster.
It was already da the end of a month. Let us travel deeper into the monster's lair and see what it was plotting on.
The mountain cave was dark as if it had never been darker, yet it had such a cold and wet atmosphere. Every corner was stuffed with human Bones and skeleton, perhaps the monster threw them away after savagely wolfing down the dead bodies of innocent people. Walk a little deeper inside, we'll see it. The Legendary Snake Monster. It was giant, with a terribly long snake's body. It had wide, terrifying yellow eyes. Its nose was always projecting lava hot breaths, which burned anyone unfortunate enough to get too close. Its ridiculously wide mouth was stuffed with large yellow teeth which were sharper even than the sharpest swords, even a hair touched the edge would break. And hell, its mouth was filled with such a disgusting, smelly liquid. Its body was covered with scales, scales and scales. However, above all of the mentioned, there was one most noticeable trait of this monster. It was a scale-shaped sort of marking on its forehead.
"Well well well" – The monster shifted its huge and long hell of a body. – "I'm felling scratchy. Where are my servants? Come here and scratch me!"
All of a sudden, another monster – that had a human-like body but frighteningly thin, sickly pale, absolutely hairless and had three bloody red eyes appeared successivo to his boss and started scratching crazily its itchy spot.
"How comfortable" – The monster sighed. – "One of my scales is going to fall, I see. It just takes one touch of the scale against the ground down there, and then the filthy humans will not be able to escape the lovely disaster! I then can afford to enjoy a nice meal for the successivo month!"
Pling!
At last, one of the snake monster's scales had fallen out.
"Perfect… Come, Eagle, take this scale and drop it off the mountain, now!" – The snake monster ordered. The giant bird right then appeared, and with its giant, sharp claws, it grabbed the scale and charged full-speed outside of the pitch black mountain cave, until it was flying high above the land. Without one smidge of hesitation, the eagle released its grasp, causing the scale to fall at its full potential down to the land. It looked as if there were a shooting star…
Meanwhile…
Down on the mainland, in that beautiful country of Cipangu (*), there was a family of strong warriors living in a forest far away from the capital. The family was known as the legendary ninja clan of Shoumei. Legendary, because the clan was famous for all of its members knowing almost every kind of ninja techniques. They could also invent their own unique ninjutsu, martial arts techniques. That night, a Shoumei ninja and his wife stepped out of their house with plenty weapons – swords, shurikens, bow and arrows and such – in hand. They were unlucky enough to not have any children for a good twenty years ever since they got married. They always longed for a son o a daughter, in hope for the future of the clan, and the future of their own. Back at that night, the mentioned Shoumei husband and wife held their weapons securely, ready for the appearance of any kind of monster. The Shoumei clan's members could kill the monsters transformed from the snake's scales (yet couldn't kill the snake itself) so it was their mission to slay them and keep the danger away from the citizens. Their eyes looked up just when the two found the burning scale, very high in the air, charging at the speed of lightning towards the ground. The scale fell dramatically into the green clouds of leaves of the forest. The ninja and his wife ran as fast as they could, hopelessly towards the spot, but…
It was too late. The scale quickly came into contact with the ground. It only took a gentle touch against the cold, wet forest ground, and then the scale ultimately exploded with a loud, booming sound, dyeing a large portion of the forest with a blinding color of white. The light slowly weakened until it completely shut down. The Shoumei husband and wife ran towards the scene only to find hell of a large number of giant collapsed trees lying one over the other. They made their way through the trees, searching everywhere but couldn't see any sign of a monster.
Suddenly…
"Hey darling, come here and see this!" – The husband yelled. His wife got to him when she saw him sitting in front of some albero trunks, being surprised over something.
His wife soon got surprised with him. In front of them, lied a small baby with her hair and eyes purple.
The husband stared at the baby passionately. He looked deeply into the eyes of the child and, how he wondered he loved the color of purple so much… The baby's eyes were sparkling like stars, yet had that shade of purple, so lovely and somewhat mysterious like the night… The longer the husband stared into those eyes, the stronger he got attracted to them, to the color, unable to get away from them… The baby's hair were silky and soft like petals and also purple, it amazingly fitted her eyes, making her even più and più attractive, no words could ever describe…
The husband picked the baby up from the ground and detto to his wife: "This is great, darling. How about we raise this lovely child from now on? What luck, the gods finally understood us. We've got a child!"
His wife agreed and so, they returned home with the strange baby. Because of the magical shade of purple she had to her eyes and hair, it was no wonder that her parents named her:
Murasaki.
End of prologue. To be continued.

The book club meeting was held at the mall today. I didn't want to go at first but I soon realized I has nothing better to do. All my Friends hate me. I was going up the escalator when I spotted Tammie, Jennifer and Hazel laughing and glancing at dresses. I don't know what persuaded me to do so but I dashed up the escalator and to them. They instantly stopped laughing when they saw me. Hazel was her usual bratty self. Tammie was being extra annoying and Jennifer actually showed some sign of her missing me. The others didn't like my being here, I guess. Tammie started insulting me and my clothes. I was so hurt that I couldn't think of something clever to say back. Instead I ran away and down the escalator until I reached the book club room. da this time, I was so distraught and in tears that I didn't even want to go to the stupid meeting. I wastes time wondering around the hall. I didn't want to be near anyone.

This party is off the hook! Whoever hosted this party is a flat out genius. They have chips, of all kind, punch, soda, boys, movies, and the latest songs da Jake Miller. Jake Miller is an awesome rapper. I'm surprised they have him though. Kyle was there and we were dancing for hours. I had to sit down and get some soda. My clothes and my feet were drenched in sweat. It was so worth it though. On occasion Kyle would grab my butt o whisper words that entangled with the Musica so I wasn't able to hear him. I didn't like it but this is what boyfriends do. Right? After a short break, we started dancing again. Kyle had gotten us some punch, punzone and whatever was in that punch, punzone made me loopy but I was able to dance longer and harder. It was so much fun! Kyle has to be the best boyfriend ever!
