	spikes_girl picked Stages leading into Amore: I was thinking about this today, how almost all of my favorite couples have slow, developing relationships. Some work up from friends to lovers such as Luke and Lorelai, some go all the way from enemies to lovers, like Buffy and Spike. There's Rory and Jess, who started out as a friendship (at least for Rory, and their relationship developed much quicker than the others), and Logan and Veronica, from friends to rivals to all sorts of things :) posted più di un anno fa.

	oldmovie picked Stages leading into Amore: Personally, only my opinion here, love at first sight works better in movies then on tv. When you have two characters fall in love immediatly, not much else can be drawn from that relationship and not that much more revealed about their characters because the romance should be enough to sweep viewers off their feet (which works well in movies) but once the initial honeymoon phase is over, it is often hard to keep those couples interesting because there was no real build to the moment. While on the other hand, what draws people to love that develops over time is the story that is being told. The way the characters are beginning to notice each other and how slowly their feelings for one and another and being unvealed through different views on their character. This option has more potential for story and highly interesting plot lines.
