Not right for each other. Deep down, Peyton couldn't give Jake her whole heart. And they both knew that. And Jake was always on the run, or MIA because of Jenny/Nikki drama.... which always came between them too. It obviously just wasn't meant to be. But I'd also say that their relationship was comfortable, I guess.
