In the first 5 mins of the Vampire Diaries .... Damon talked Bella and Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. that 'sparkle'....another sign that the CW is trying to pull in the Twilight crowd. :)

cagna that's not a sign its called HUMOR, every one loves Twilight and The Vampire Diaries is the successivo big thing... i don't get why all te Twilight fan can't be fan of any other vampire things. I Amore Twilight and i still read and watch vampire things and not compare every thing to Twilight... oh and Caroline doesn't really know anything about Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. and that why she detto "Why don't te sparkle." it's a big book its bound to end up in Film and shows. Ya there probably trying to pull the Twilight crowd in probably because they don't try anything Vampire new and whats the big deal if they are.

Sorry i just don't get te Twilight fan your way to fixed on it to pay any attention to other vampire things. I'm a huge Twilight fan but i let people tell me how much Twilight sucks and i watch and read different things it's not that big of a deal.

P.S. The Vampire Diaries came out before the Twilight saga.

Well i have to admit that as soon as he detto "Edward is so whipped" i had to start laughin!! Usually i dont like it when twilight is mocked, but this was just too funny how he detto it.and then they talked about sparkling and idk it was too funny! lol. But really i like that they are throwing in some fun stuff like that..im a HUGE fan of twilight but there's nothin wrong with other vampire shows, that are based off different type vampire books,being funny..Twilight is a will be a huge thing for a long time, but whats wrong with some competition! lol im a total team Edward twilighter addict but i totally Amore this show! :) Im Team Stedward now i guess te could say! :)

I think that Vampire Diaries is so stupid. its like an exact remake of Twilight! te might as well make Twilight a show. i dont understand how this mostra could actually get approved when it is so much like twilight.

Not that it matters but The Vampire Diaries series came out years before twilight..and even though there are some minor discrepancies in the way some of the characters are portrayed they are doing a much better job than Catherine Hardwicke did on Twilight...I don't care what anyone says...the libri were really good but that movie sucked! Hopefully New Moon does the book justice...we'll see:/

Excuse me girls but I'm just Lost here. I watched TVD the first 3 episodes and now downloading the 4th but I didn't here Damon say anything about Twilight o Edward !!! could someone tell me in which episode and scene did he detto that ? please ? cause now I'm questioning my hearing ability LOL.
But on theory I don't think that TVD need to do that to attract Twilight fans. TVD has it's own fan and Twilight fan will watch TVD if they find that it is a good story which it is. TVD were written way years before Twilight so no way that they are stealing Twilight story. Loving Twilight doesn't mean hating TVD. I Amore them both. Each one has it's own magic LOL.
