Bella's P.O.V.





It was like i could not breathe. Like i was just hit in the chest. I started hearing humming noices.

Then i was aware of cold hands touching my wrist for a pulse. Then finally when i could hear who's voices their were in the room, I remembered all about the phone call when i was in my room with Edward....

I was ready to open my eyes...but it was easier detto than done. My head hurt and when i had the strengh to open my eyes, i saw Edward looking at me.

Edward and i were the only people in the room. As i blinked I was asked, "Who was that on the phone? I thought it might have been Jacob at first da the way te reacted but i wasn't sure of that when te fainted."

"It was her...Vic-Victoria was on the phone. o atleast it sounded like it."

"Oh Edward," i detto as i hugged him "Do te really have to leave?"

"I'll only be gone a week, love. No need to worry."

He was right. Why should i have to worry when the Lupi will be on red aleart to? I wonder if i can..."Can one of te stay then? Like Alice o Rosalie??"

"Rosalie might not want to but I sure can bet that Alice might. Do te want me to ask her?"

"If te really want to, but i dout that anybody needs to ask her...visions remember?"

"Ok...But te will be under total servalince.Ok?"
I leaned up to baciare his jaw then my lips to his ears and said,"Ok."

While Edward was getting ready for Alices's answer. I was in Edwards lap with my arm's wraped around his neck and his arms arould my waist and our foreheads slightly touching while we wispered to eachother. A conversation only to eachother and nobody else.

We were in the Cullens living room and out of nowhere Alice bolted down the steps while yelling the word, "YES! YES! YES!!". That made Edward and me good knowing that I wasnt alone for one second.


Later that night before Edward had to leave, I was sung to sleep in his arms with all my might. But they were no match for how i would feal in the morning when Edward was gone for a week.

School, work, and especially...nighttime was the hardest to endure.I would miss him, even though he was gone for JUST a week, as Alice put it.

That first night without Edward made number one on my superiore, in alto ten WORST nights ever list.
