Vocaloids can't be talented.

The producers can be, the VAs can be, and the companies can be, since they're the ones that actually make the Vocaloids, have them sing and provide their voices. But Vocaloids can't be.
also i want to be able to add scl project to this since i am a big fan of their works and hey look natsu uses both kagamines how nice.

if this were a "whose voice is better" poll, i think rin has a much better voice than len. len's one of my least favourite vocaloids (that's not to say i don't like him, some of kanon's len songs are my favourite vocaloid works and i even have a playlist for them), while rin's one of my favourites. it's mainly len's accent that i don't like, i think.

Yeah Rin's voice is awesome, but hey, were just pretending they're voices belong to them and not some computers. Even though your absolutely right,just, forget about it.

idk pretending is really hard for me because of how my brain works. basically, i had a test, im smart, hooray, but one of the downsides is that its really hard for me to see something not logically. sure, it makes science a lot easier for me; i can figure stuff out pretty easily, but the closest i can get to pretending is abstract thinking, which is still pretty far off.

tl;dr: if you make a poll like this im just going to use my logic on you because thats all i know

I've always liked to think of them as characters who were made with feelings. Who enjoy singing for us. And before you use your logic on me keep this in mind: I am the exact opposite of you. I am more of a creative thinker and day dreamer, and, for a 13 year old, I have an extremely overactive imagination

i said why i cant accept them as talented (and before u say anything i headcanon them as human and i have unique headcanons for every single vocaloid) and it shouldve ended after the second one tbh because thats when i explained myself n stuff. like im deleting the last one because i was being annoying and i was tired and thats probably why i came off as rud e i swear i dont want to be rude i

(but my point from there still stands; crypton is a company and they make cutesy voicebanks for the money because thats just what companies do)

i think what im trying to say is that likin g them doesnt necessarily mean you'll be able to see them as talented, especially not someone who, as i said about myself before, sees the world both abstractly and VERY literally. i just have trouble seeing them as talented because they dont write the songs, they dont tune themselves, and they arent original voices. they're instruments. would you call a guitar talented? what about something having a voice, sentient or not, makes an instrument talented??

and for the record, despite my literal view of Everything, i sometimes imagining things that arent actually happening. this is in no way a lack of imagination, just a questioning of what you view as talent.
