I was raised da a really strong woman who, when I was eight, divorced my dad and entered the feminist movement. It was she who bought me my first 'Wonder Woman' book, a hardcover compendium of 'golden-age' comics da Moulton-Marsden himself. That's where my Amore of all things Wonder Woman began.

However, I couldn't help but notice that, ABC's WW mostra notwithstanding, there was an absolute paucity of female superhero shows and movies. Think about it--how many times have they rehashed 'Batman'? Or, for that matter 'Superman'? Who really was there to represent Us? When are they going to do a live-action "Wonder Woman" movie? I can't understand why Joss Whedon (creator of the kick-ass "Buffy The Vampire Series") o Bryan Singer ("X-men") haven't done one yet.

The real truth is that for far-too-long women have remained complacent with the status-quo. We have handed men our power in the decision-making process long fa and for some unfathomable reason are afraid of taking it back. All te have to do is look at our law makers and notice that most of them have penises. 'Nuff said.
