Megan started the plane, while the rest of the team buckled in. She formed a sede, sedile for me, right successivo to Superboy.

"Ready for take-off," Megan announced. "We'll be landing in an hour."
All of a sudden, I felt farfalle in my stomach. Why was I nervous? I took another peek at the Greek god successivo to me.
Of course! The whole team has had training before, and I would look like a stick in the mud!
My breathing was unsteady. I would mess up this whole mission, and Batman would regret coming for me!

"You'll do fine, Erica," comforted a familiar voice in my head.

"Don't worry about it, we'll be there to help you," detto another voice. I was pretty sure it was Aqualad.
But his lips weren't moving...
"Isn't that cool?" Kid Flash's voice rang in my head. "We could hear each other's minds!"
"Gah!" I shrieked, out loud this time.
Robin snickered at me. "Get used to it. It might be kinda weird having all these voices in your head. But it helps to communicate!"
I clutched my chest. Then...does that mean, they heard what I detto about Superboy?
"Yep, we heard everything," detto KF.
I growled irritably. I needed some time to myself. I closed my eyes and folded my legs into criss-cross applesauce.
Hopefully, they can't interfere while I'm meditating.
"Cool! I wanna see the Dragon Spirit!" KF intervened excitedly.
"What the HELL is a Dragon Spirit?" Artimus questioned him mentally.
Oh my God, get out of my head already!!!
"Sorry," KF smiled back at me, looking apologetic.
I sighed and closed my eyes again. My mind was quickly transported to the familiar blue world I had been visiting every night.
Though Mom could keep me from using my powers, she couldn't keep me from meditating.
I followed the path through the trees, and spotted the little rock cave. I jumped over a puddle and landed inside.
"The Avatar..." greeted the Dragon Spirit.
"Help me with this mission!" I blurted out.
His long tail waved in the air while he was thinking. "Follow your instincts...rely on all of your powers...."
"Erica!" someone was calling me.
And the Spirit World faded away before my eyes.
"What!" I answered impatiently.
KF grinned at me apologetically again. "Before we left for the mission, te detto that te had superstrength and could fly. How?"
"Normally the Avatar doesn't have those powers," Aqualad added.
I straightened up in regular position. "My dad had those powers. I guess I inherited them from him."
"Cool!" KF exclaimed.
"We're over Drop Zone A," detto Megan. "Erica, Robin, and Superboy, get ready."
Safety lines dropped from the superiore, in alto of the plane. I unbuckled and stood up. "I don't need one."
A hatch opened from below us, and we were free falling into the jungle below.
I lightly landed on my feet, followed da a very loud BOOM!
"What was THAT?!" I whispered.
Robin glowered at Superboy. "We're supposed to be quiet, remember?" he hissed.
Superboy ignored him and joined the two of us in the thicket.
Robin touched his watch and a screen showed up. "Superboy and Erica, te two go west of here. FIND THE JOKER. I'll catch up with Megan and the rest and disengage the alarm system." He raised an eyebrow at me. "Sure te could handle this?"
I nodded. "Righty-o. Find the Joker. Got it." I ran off toward the west side of the forest, with Superboy close behind.
"Be sure to communicate through your minds," Robin reminded us through our heads.
"I know!" Superboy whined.
We sped through trees until we found an old abandoned building.
te think that's the one? I asked Superboy in my head.
"Yep. Sure looks like it," he replied.
We crept toward the building and peeked through the window. Inside, there were men dressed in clown costumes hauling crates into a truck.
"We have company," I sang quietly.
He frowned. "Mindreading, remember?"
Oops!
He sighed. "You're gonna have to make a diversion while I find the Joker."
Alright. Prepare for a big one!
I punched the window, sending thousands of glass shattering. The men in clown Suits looked surprised at my appearance, probably because I was new.
"The Super Brats!" one of them realized in a Jersey accent.
"Too late for that one, Buddy!" I punched him on the big red nose. Superboy, I'll be fine. Go!
He nodded and rushed off to another level.
"Ooh, a touch chick, huh?" a short, fat man picked up a crowbar from the floor. "Let's see how tough te are when I'm done with ya!"
"Rely on all of your powers..." prompted a familiar voice.
I spread my arms out wide and clapped them. A big gust of air blew through the crowd of clowns, slamming them to the wall.
"Woo-hoo! Yeah!" I hollered. Pieces of earth flew around and knocked into the astonished faces of the thugs.
Where's KF and Artimus? They're missing all the fun! I thought as I burned a few arancia, arancio wigs.
My domanda was later answered da a sharp silence. Two muscled men carried KF and Artimus on their shoulders, and dropped them on the floor. They pulled out pistole from their pockets.
"Put your hands up, o the brats get it," the taller one threatened.
I raised my hands slowly. Just when I was having a good time.
For a moment, I thought everything was perfect...

But that moment ended.
