The secondo before my sai impaled itself into Kalder’s head, a force grabbed it from the air. I ran at Kalder, my fist ready. I punched at him, tears streaking from my eyes. He caught my fist and I crumpled to the ground, crying. My students ran over to me and formed a protective cerchio around me.
“No love. Only betrayal” I cried
“Night…” Wally tried to come through, but Leah pushed him back. Kalder stepped forward.
“I want to help her” he offered.
“You’ve done enough” Leah growled. Ro came over and helped me up. She walked me back to the dojo and sat me down in the shadows. I kept crying, thinking about how every male I’d loved betrayed me. Aside from my dad. He didn’t betray me. Only my father. Only Green Arrow. I curled into a ball and tucked my face into my knees. I was not loved da anyone aside from my family. I gave up. Harmony came over to me.
‘Are te okay, Master Night?’ she asked
‘No, Harmony, I’m not’ I thought back
‘I’m sorry’ she sat beside me
‘For what? te didn’t do anything’ I asked
‘I’m sorry he broke your heart’ she said. I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back. Harmony was very kind. Artemis walked over.
“Night, Why did te try to kill Kalder?” she asked
“He betrayed me, trespassed and attacked my students. He betrayed me. He betrayed me” I muttered. Artemis sat with me and Harmony.
“Night, I know how hard a brake up is” Artemis said
“He didn’t brake up with me. He kissed Tula. On the lips. While we were still together. Outside my room. When I had just saved his life” I murmured
“I know how hard that must be, but remember? The past is the past. It can’t be altered now” Artemis quoted me.
“That doesn’t mean I can’t still be hurt. Even in death, Hidra can take its revenge” I sighed. I slapped myself and shook my head clear.
“Mopping around won’t train students and get rid of intruders” I took a deep breath and got up. I collected my fallen sai and walked over to the team.
“You may stay here for the night. te will sleep at curfew and wake at dawn. Any later for either will result in punishment. te will follow the dojo’s rules and bide da our code of honor while te stay here” I told them
“When’s curfew?” Wally asked
“9:30” I detto “Any whiners will be punished” I turned around.
“Okay” they nodded. Kalder grabbed my shoulder.
“Night, we need to talk” he said
“I know te have extremely strong feelings for Tula. And that is why our paths diviso, spalato here”

I'm surprised at what te believe. I'm that simple girl, skipping down the dirt path surrounded da trees, with a basket of goodies filled with the mother of my mother. I must be careful of the wolf, people think.
