(New Years Special) Courageous Prologue-

Prologue-

agrifoglio broke away from her baciare with Sam at the sound of the voice over her comm unit.

"Be right there." she said.

She looked at Sam and could tell immediately something bothered him.

"What?" she asked. "What is it?"

"Nothing," Sam detto after a moment.

"Something is wrong." agrifoglio said, looking in Sam's blue eyes.

"It's nothing." Sam said.

"Uh-huh" agrifoglio replied unbelievingly.

Sam went for his mask, but agrifoglio caught his wrist. "Oh no te don't." she said. "Sam talks to me before Revenge leaves."

Sam sighed. "You'll know when te get there. I hoped it wouldn't come to this." he slid on his mask and left.

Artemis raised an eyebrow as he exited Holly's room, but he waved her out of his mind.

"Recognized, Red Revenge. B-13." the computer rang out.

"Wait! Where are te going?" agrifoglio asked.

"Home." Revenge replied as he zeta beamed out of the cave.

agrifoglio walked over to the zeta-beam transporter and typed in something before stepping into the tube.

"Recognized, Courage. B-12" the computer rang out. A moment later, agrifoglio was on the Watchtower. She walked down the metal hallways. The view from the spazio station was amazing. Unfortunately, she couldn't worry about that right now. The Justice League had asked for her personally, and she had to get to the briefing room.

When she walked in, she was totally in awe. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman and Hawkwoman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, & Flash were sitting at a big round tavolo with the JLU logo in the middle.

"Courage." Batman said, standing up.

"Yes, sir?" agrifoglio asked.

"The Justice League has voted about your position on the Team." Batman said.

'Uh-oh' agrifoglio thought.

"Five of us voted to kick te off." Batman said. "Four to keep you. So we're tied."

"Tied?" agrifoglio asked, redoing the math a few times in her head.

"My vote counts as two." Superman detto with a helpful smile.

"Because of this, te get a chance to prove yourself." Manhunter said, standing up.

"Prove myself?" agrifoglio asked.

"In a mission. If te succeed, te stay on the Team." Manhunter said.

"If I lose?"

"You are banned." Batman said. "Permanently."

After literally hours of going through my closet, I finally found something me and Rachel agreed on. It was a white blouse, dark blue skinny jeans and some knee high converse. I brushed my hair and let it loose down my back. We walked out the door together and to the lounge. Right outside the lounge, my shoes mysteriously untied themselves. Rachel walked in while I retied them. She walked back out, then we walked in together. The lights were off. I flicked them on and everyone jumped up yelling “Surprise”
