What was I supposed to do? I had no choice, no choice at all. There was no point of me being on the team anymore, and Heather had been able to convince me of that. So I ended up faking my own death. I didn't have the guts to go tell them that I was just going to quit being a hero anymore. So now, exactly one anno after I had "died", I found myself running down a dimly lit strada, via with rain pouring down on my head like hail, and about half a dozen o so police cars chasing me down. Just a few più blocks, that was all it took.
After about a minuto o two più of running, which felt like an hour, I met my destination. With my feet still throbbing, I painstakingly pulled out the transport. Turing a small ring that clung tightly to the side, a small button in the middle began to glow a dim yellow. da pressing the button, I could feel myself getting lighter and the scenery around me starting to fade away into a large warehouse. It looked più like a high-tech base than a warehouse, actually.
Waiting there for me were Heather and Clint, sitting on the divano and talking quietly. "Did te get it?" I managed to gasp out breathlessly. Without a sound, Heather, with her signature short blonde hair now dyed blue at the tips, tossed a small brown bag over the couch. She had terrible aim, and I ended up rolling over on the floor with the bag tucked close to my chest just to keep it from breaking. "Next time, I vote Clint to play as the distraction." I detto with my eyes closed, and laying on my back on the floor. Getting up, I slowly and carefully opened the bag and reviewed the contents, everything seemed to be in there.
da adjusting my body temperature higher, I was able to steam off all the rainwater that had been soaked into my hair and my suit. I sighed and rubbed in between my eyes with my thumb and forefinger to help relive the headache I had collected from running in freezing cold rain for 20 continuous minutes. Sitting down in a chair in front of several large computer monitors, I began to start calculating where to hit next. The only problem was, the Justice League had been tracking us for the past few weeks and we were running out of options.
Suddenly, 2 arms wrapped around my shoulders. I smiled and tilted my head all the way back to see Colin smiling down at me. "Having fun?" He asked with his usual sarcastic tone. "Now I am." I laughed as he bent down and kissed me briefly on the lips. I spun around and jumped out of my chair into his tanned arms. He smiled, and let me down slowly. "You know, it really does mean a lot to me that te are here." I whispered into his ear. Colin didn't unisciti as a villain. He was part of the team when he did. He was there to comfort me when Kaldur disappeared. And since he felt that he didn't belong on the team either, Heather had Clint coax him into joining us.
Colin was strong, had a nice tan, bleach blonde hair, and black eyes. The only time when his eyes were different, was when he was granting a wish; which we had tried to prevent at all costs.
**SHOULD I CONTINUE?? P.S- THIS TAKES PLACE IN THE NEW TIMELINE... MERCY IS 21....I THINK...**
