It was dark.. the smell of metallic and rotting flesh filled her lungs. She coughed as her eyes adjusted to the darkness.
"Wh.. where am I?" Blade muttered almost not understandable through all her coughing. Cool, soul-less fingers ran through her long, golden hair.
"Oh sweetie, why did te ever leave me?" He came closer inhaling her sent and smirked continuing his sentence,"I almost forgot what a stupid,worthless, betraying, beauty fondere, c'era un odore like.." He smiled and turned her face towards his with his index finger.
Blade replied with her snarky tone, even though she was dying inside,"And i forgot what disgusting,ugly,idiot looked like."
He grabbed her da the throat and slammed her up against the wall,"You'll regret that.." He detto pulling out his coltello and slicing a thin cut across her cheek,"Oh.. Blade, I can't contain my self!" He smirked and licked the blood streaming down her cheek and then kissed her.
She tried to sposta but couldn't. His lips were cold and sent a surge of negitive energy through her. He pulled away and smirked.. she head but him and then kicked his stomach, knocking him to the ground, she snaped her fingers but he stopped her movement.
"Oh no, naughty Blade.." he grabbed his sword and shoved it through her abdomen making her clench her teeth in pain. She fell to the ground and whimpered "Phoebe, Del, Luke, Arty... anyone.. help.."

Phoebe opened her eyes and looked at everyone, "I found her, I found Blade, and she's hurt, she's dying!"

Blade closed her eyes.. ignoring the pain, she was oh-so used to. Gage kicked her making her wound gush più blood. She whimpered her teams name again as her world faded to black..

Chapter 8-

The two bats and a bird fired their grappling lines at the ceiling, Artemis following their example. Robin grabbed Kid Flash and Batgirl Zatanna, dragging them onto the walkway.

"Well, well." Joker said. "The Batman does it again."

"And the Batgirl." Barbara added.

Joker cackled. "Well come and get me then!" he said.

Zatanna muttered a spell and threw objects at Joker. Artemis shot arrows. The two bats threw batarangs at the madman while the little bird swung across the gap in the walkway. The junior speedster sped across the gap and joined his friend in close combat.

As we walked through the halls of WayneTech, we exchanged nothing but silence. The precedente predicament still left us shaking, and now we were out to cerca for more. It was obvious that Scarecrow knew of our presence, which is why he had the gas sprayed all over the building. Every now and then I heard rats squeaking, glass breaking, and spiders crawling, but none of them so much as gave me a start.
Oddly enough, Robin knew his way around the building. Without getting lost, we retrieved and destroyed much of the fear serums, but we weren't done unless we found Scarecrow.
