Chapter Twelve:
Revenge landed on the rooftop.
"Things just went south. agrifoglio and Cassie have been taken captive. agrifoglio called for an immediate extraction."
Nightwing looked up.
"She wants te to "Call in the Calvary"."
Nightwing nodded. "All Team units to the school now. Priority Red. Blue, grab Mal Duncan and meet us there."
--------------------------------------------------------
"This is one hell of a school." Barbara muttered.
"There!" M'gann whispered, pointing at a room. The two crept inside and were stunned at what they found.
The girl was indeed there, but shrink to six inches tall. She looked unconscious and as if she were in pain.
"Nightwing," Batgirl said. "We've located the girl. But something rather interesting has happened to her."
"What?" Nightwing asked.
"She's been shrunk to six inches tall."
There was silence on the other end of the line for a few secondi before Nightwing spoke again.
"We're already on our way. Cassie and agrifoglio were captured. We're going to rescue them. Blue Beetle will be your escort out. Grab the girl and meet us on the west lawn."
"Understood."
"Nightwing out."
--------------------------------------------------------
"You got a plan, plant-girl?" Cassie asked.
"Shut it, wonder brat." agrifoglio replied as she was strapped down to the tavolo successivo to Cassie. "Of course I have a plan."
"Care to let me in on it?"
"No."
"Then how-"
"Hey!" agrifoglio yelled. One of the clones turned around. "Will te gag her?"
"Oh no te didn't!" Cassie yelled.
"Girls." A new voice said.
Every person in the room turned to see the Black Hero and the former Boy Wonder standing in the doorway.
"Took te long enough." agrifoglio said.
"You sent me the message seven minuti ago." Revenge replied.
Nightwing raised an eyebrow, comparing the timing.
The clones had had enough talk and raised their pistole to fire. Revenge pulled out some daggers.
"Careful! Their clones!" agrifoglio warned.
"They're robots." Revenge said, rolling on the floor and tossing daggers as the girls fired at him.
"How do te keep learning this stuff?" Nightwing asked.
"Seriously dude? te need to invest in a good mask."
"My mask is fine, thank te very much." Nightwing detto indignitly, untying Cassie.
Revenge finished off the robots and helped Holly, who had untied herself, up.
"Shall we leave?" Revenge asked.
"Ladies first." Nightwing smirked.
Revenge pushed agrifoglio and Cassie out the door.

"Sir, the cloning failed. And now the girl is fully trusted da the others. There is no possible way to-"
"That is false. The girl is mine, and she knows that. However, with the bat and bird protecting her, it will be difficult."
"Don't forget, she has begun dating the silver boy."
"Yes. But is it worth it to own her?"
"Sir?"
"I've seen her work at a small amount of power. I wonder how destructive she can be at full power. This girl can, no, will be, the end of the Justice League."
"Of course, sir."
"Leave me." The girl nodded, her red eyes glimmering in the dark. Then she exited without a sound.
The boy stepped out from the shadows, his yellow eyes darting around the screens. Each screen had a different picture of the same girl. He reached out and picked one.
"We've waited a long time for you, deary. It's time to come home."
