just realised something-
Harry is/was a Horcrux
Basilisk venom destroys Horcruxes
When Tom Riddle's diary was stabbed with a Basilisk fang it died immediately
When Harry was stabbed da a Basilisk fang he managed to stay alive long enough for Fawkes to come to the rescue
Horcruxes can't be damaged unless they are damaged beyond repair. When HRH tried to destroy the locket it showed no signs of having been damaged
Yet Harry still manages to get hurt
