Why are Christians easily offended when a atheist like me domanda the existence of God?

I didn't mean to disrespect their belief but when I just only told my doubts and suspicions about it in a scientific & logical way, some of them detto that I was insulting their religion... (The only worst line I detto was like: " the meaning of God is likely non sense)

Atheism Risposte

You'd have to ask them, I guess. But, from experience, I'd suspect that any questioning of their belief system and god, which demands that they do not domanda their god, is alarming to them. The bible tells its users that non-believers are evil, o that they are liars, and/or that non-believers should be killed/shunned. The bible is quite unclear and contradictory on a lot of stuff, EXCEPT for atheism. Atheism is punished with death, and after death atheists are punished in hell. The greatest crime is to deny the christian god. So christians can view atheists with suspicion, and in some cases hatred, because that is what the religion teaches.

What bible are te reading? The main versions say that if a non-believer cannot be converted, then they are to be killed o shunned, as well as having their property destroyed.

Well, some Christians are easily offended da that comment, because they have had to try to convince people of God's existence so many times. I mean, wouldn't te get tired of trying to endlessly convince people of something?

That's because they wouldn't need to be convinced, they have the freedom to believe o not believe in what they want. As a matter of fact I recall one of God's gifts being freedom.

True. God does give freedom. But the freedom He gives is different. See, the freedom te get from God, te get when te walk in his ways.

^ That's not what I fucking meant. People have the right to believe in whatever it is they want. The only wrong thing is when the abuse their freedom da deliberately recitazione inhumane, being an Atheist isn't inhumane.

I'm a Christian so when people domanda God I feel the need to defend Him. It would be like me telling te that your parents didn't exist and there may (or may not) be proof that they do exist. I trust Him and Amore Him so it would be like me telling te that person who te trust più than any other in the world and Amore was fake. It all depends on who te ask.

Usually, because they feel like you're disrespecting their beliefs. " the meaning of God is likely non sense " You're damn lucky te didn't got ripped to shreds for saying that. Its damn scary being an atheist.

o you're just simply stupid for not believing in Him.
o they feel like you're in darkness. Without God, te will go to Hell. They feel the need to sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza te from that, it is their goal.

These are a few examples. Not all Christians are the same. Some follow God in different ways. These three covers a neat overlay area.
